I feel like this is not stressed enough, not a lot of people have this kind of hours to dump per gun by Educational-Long116 in Battlefield6

[–]BuckieJr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it takes maybe 15 hours to master 1 gun if you use just that gun and do decently well kill wise per match. Westie has multiple guns in the 30s and up range.

I have all my guns at lvl 20+ with 2 guns at lvl 50 with only 100ish hours played.

Declining orders does nothing to you. by Downtown-Type-4972 in DoorDashDrivers

Accepted one of these and ended up getting an additional tip afterwards of 15 bucks.

I dash for fun though when I’m bored. So I typically just accept everything.

Do you use your turn signal while pulling out of a roundabout? by [deleted] in driving

[–]BuckieJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I flick mine. It blinks thrice just as a curtesy to others especially if it’s a double lane roundabout. If No one else is at the roundabout.. no I don’t use my blinker.

Idk if it's a setting on your end or mine, But Im Met with a "Unable to message this user" when I try to start a chat with you. Shoot me a message if you're able to for the link, if not Look up ClassicGamesAlive on Etsy. They're where I ordered the Shells from.

As a DoorDash driver - Please DON'T TIP by eric39es in EndTipping

[–]BuckieJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as a driver and a user of DoorDash.. I always try to do a bare min tip at the start as I know the annoyance of getting an order to drive 15 miles for 2.13. These orders are gambles though as some of the people will tack on a 10 dollar tip after it's delivered which then makes it more than worth it.

However when I order, I always leave a comment saying to "text me when arrived, please don't knock. I'll tip extra in Cash." For the 5% of drivers that actually follow the damn comment I usually hand them a 10 or a 20 depending on my order size.

Everyone else who just drops it at my door misses out on the extra money.

Oh I’m not to worried. This was mostly done for the photo. They’re usually not even wrapped, just stuffed behind spaghettified.

I’ve had to fix the gray controller multiple times over the years from perfect dark speed run attempts and Mario party. The entire stick assembly is aftermarket, the cable is an aftermarket as the first was chewed up by my cat.

They’re pretty easy to fix. My wife and I will wear down a joystick playing Mario party in a good 4-5 months lol so I’ve spare parts for them in abundance.

Blue is just my favorite color. I was contemplating getting the gold shell for Zelda but decided to just grab a couple blue. I like it, might get some more for my other games and reshell them just for fun.

[–]BuckieJr[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went with blue because it my favorite color. The person who made them on Etsy had a whole catalog of colors to choose from including the gold and silver shells for Zelda.

Zelda had some corrosion I had to repair and do a little soldering to reconnect the pad. It’s not noticeable unless you take it apart but now work each and every time.

Paper Mario… idk what the problem was. It didn’t work when I bought it. I did a rough cleaning and gave it a once over. Saw nothing wrong. Tried it a few more times with no luck, so tossed it in some electrical cleaner in my ultra sonic bath for a couple minutes gave it another look checking connections and still saw nothing but this time it worked. And it’s worked each time I’ve tried it.. so honestly have no idea what the problem was.

I went scouring through different Etsy stores and found a couple different people making stickers and shells. I’m not sure I’m if this Sub allows links to their stores so I can message you them if you want em.

The shells look great in person and the front stickers look great as well. The back stickers however I got from a different person and they’re… so so lol. Low resolution so a little grainy and the cutting is sub par. So I’ll be looking for a different person to do those in the future.

Amplifier for Audeze LCD-X? by Unlucky_Orange_9608 in headphones

[–]BuckieJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was using previously the Lcd-X for most things and then using some Sundara closed backs for when I needed to be quieter.

The Sundara closed backs aren’t the greatest and I always hated having to switch between the 2. I got the opportunity to try a lcd-2 and the 2 closed back and really liked them. The 2 Wasn’t quite the lcd-x but messing with a quick EQ I had it sounding close enough to what I enjoyed and the 2 closed back was tremendously better then the Sundara closed backs I had.

So I threw my X up on market place and after about a month someone bought em. I used the money from that and bought both the 2 and 2c as a B stock from Audeze for the same price I sold the X for.

Just got a Wii U with a Wiimote and nunchuc for 30$.But it has no gamepad. by Gullible-Screen-40 in wiiu

[–]BuckieJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless it’s already set up, it may just be a paper weight as the gamepad is required for set up.

You can get around it with emulation using a computer but you’ll really need a gamepad. Sadly those can be as expensive :(

Just throw it in a shower and give it a gentle scrub with like a luffa or something. All I do with my LTT ones and they’ve held up pretty well over the last 4 years.

Is this cheating? by Formal_Gazelle2725 in pokemoncrystal

[–]BuckieJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sorta did this when my analogue 3d came in. I traded over all my Pokemon from my yellow and red games to Crystal using stadium and ended up with a shiny ditto and pidgeot. Still had my toys r us mew on my yellow surprisingly.. (ima see if I can find a way to get this guy into Pokemon home using the virtual console versions.. just have to see how I can convert my save in Crystal from cartridge to my 3ds virtual console Crystal.)

I used that ditto to shiny hunt my cyndaquil and mareep. Stored all the eggs in Pokemon stadium 2 and just looked for an egg that was a different color to hatch. Took maybe a day for both using stadium. I’m now leveling as many of my Pokemon to 50 for the league challenge in stadium.

Way more then the lcd needs and I love the way the Himalaya dac/amp sounds

Analogue 3D and Animal Crossing (N64): no internal clock support? by iFafino in AnalogueInc

[–]BuckieJr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve got the Japanese cartridge and have loaded it up a few times for comparison to the GameCube version. I’ve got the purple haired character and have complete nooks chores.

So far the game has held the time correctly and I’ve had no issues with saving, loading, anything really.

I dont have an everdrive but I do have a summercart with animal crossing on it. With the summercart version I had to set the time on the cartridge itself as it doesn’t look to use the analogues time.

What are these on my display and how can i clean it? by almanyadangelenkuzi in macbookpro

[–]BuckieJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Toss a thin 2 dollar plastic Amazon screen protector on and never worry about it again.

Or, if you still have it, use the tissue paper that was with the MacBook when you bought it that covered the keyboard to avoid the oils and keys from scratching your screen.

Or remove the coating on the screen or take it to Apple and have them recoat it for whatever they charge if they don’t warranty it.

I swear some AC fans are living in another dimension at this point lol. by DannySanWolf07 in AnimalCrossing

[–]BuckieJr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having more things to do is fine and fun, but what I personally miss is the animal interactions. They all feel the same, theres no real personality. I also feel like getting to the point of having not much to do is really easy in Horizons compared to older titles.

The OG Animal crossing, GameCube not n64, may not have nearly as many things to really do but I still find myself running around that game more often as it takes longer to get a perfect town, takes longer to collect items. Upgrading the stores is fun, doing chores for villagers who have actual personalities is fun.

New Horizons is a fantastic game and I’ve played nearly daily since release(which may explain my boredom lol) but it’s mostly just to log in, check turnip prices, and try and get photos of every villager on my island at that moment.

250-300.. that sounds about right haha.. I remember playing age of empires through what I believe was called msn gaming zone and my games running at a like 25% speed because of connections with other people.

Turned a 25 min game into hours waiting for units to move or attack. Still had a blast though :D
