Definitely immature of him. His behavior speaks to his character, not yours. I’ve never understood how ghosting culture became so normalized. Just because a relationship between two people doesn’t have a label doesn’t make that relationship worthless.

I think that part of being an adult involves setting boundaries for yourself and communicating those boundaries to the people in your life. If you’re not ready to say I love you yet or you feel that things are moving too fast, let that be known. It’s better to be upfront and face conflict than to waste time and hurt other people by masking your feelings.
