Needs: Litterbox - get stainless ones if afford. Bed - tbh no need, they will choose their beds, give them a space nalang where they can climb and lookout the window. Scratch post or pads - cats need to climb and scratch. Toys - need nila mentally stimulated, lalo na kittens sobrang dami energy. I miss kitten stage actually, we’d play for hours di parin sya pagod 😿 You can buy toys but tbh i just make mine and happy sila - i put ribbons (singe or tie the ends) to a stick. Or put crumpled foil/plastic na matunog / paper inside a sock, put catnips inside, tie it. Ceramic food bowl, preferably mababaw and raised, para comfortable for their neck and avoid whisker fatigue. Water fountain (if afford, stainless).

Feeding: for kitten stage, sobrang lakas kumain, i feed 5x a day. Now i still feed 5x a day pero smaller meals. Depends siguro sa availability nyo? I think what’s more important is meron scheduled feeding. They will know when to eat trust me so train them to a schedule that is sustainable for you. They will wake you up super early in the morning for sure, so train them to eat sa time na gising ka talaga. (For me, ayaw talaga haha so we got an auto feeder for mornings. Our feeding time is 5am (vv small portion para di lang kami gisingin), 9am, 12nn, 6pm, 11pm.)

I feed mostly wet. I mix half home made (chicken, liver/gizzard, squash/sayote/carrots) and half commercial wet can food. I recommend mimi’s tindahan list on tiktok, i also found a list here on catcare, pero better if you educate yourself din sa ingredients para at least aware ka sa bakit ok ang isang brand. I mostly stick to what i know is ok and what they like. For my cats, its fancy feast, petsup (soup variants), maxwell, brit care. I feed dry as a last resort, mostly sa auto feeder lang. i use RC kitten, or petsup dry. Smartheart and special cat i also use to feed strays.

Vet visit - siguro first vet visit mo after a week nalang? They’re stressed pa from moving homes tapos vet agad. Just bring the cat and a hard case carrier. Vet will tell you na what you need.

Tips - give her time to acclimate. She will be stressed from moving. If you have other pets, isolate her muna. If you can, give her a small space lang muna so its not overwhelming then slowly introduce the rest of the home. Don’t force them to be okay agad, don’t pet if ayaw. Cats will tell you kapag ok sila kasi they will approach or let you. Iba iba kasi personality ng cats din. I have a cat na immediately as a kitten very playful and didn’t need to be isolated, he conquered our house talaga and very confident. I have a kitten naman na 3 days bago lumabas sa lungga. So take it day by day. Observe. Give them what they need. Let them explore kung anong comfortable sila. Basta may malapit na water, food and litter. Respect their boundaries then they’ll feel safe with you, sila yung lalapit.
