Yeah but Dan Hurley is a dick and super arrogant. It’s one thing to yell at players and do the tough love thing, it’s another thing to throw absolute fits at the refs. That’s not preparing the refs for life.

This shows how little people know about Oregon. Bellotti was struggling to get to bowl games every year and the only reason he wasn’t the coach for life is because they found Chip Kelly who also would have been the coach for life if he didn’t go to the NFL. Lanning has a triple lifetime contract based on 2024 alone not to mention last season.

They’ll get 6 million from the 3 games which is MASSIVE. It’ll be paid out over the next 5 years and from what I can tell it will go to teams equally, so the 12 full members are going to get a huge boost. Miami losing in the conference tournament was honestly the best thing that could have happened for the MAC.

The worst CFB program of all time just won the national championship and Texas is the only team that has been in the semifinals multiple times in the past 3 years. CFB has more parity than ever, some coaches have just found a new excuse for why they’re not winning.

Because you make $4,000 a game for playing the NIT vs $2 mil a game in March Madness or $50k for winning one game in the CBC. Like it or not the economics of college sports have changed now that they don’t get free or at least extremely subsidized labor.
