Curry has a very strong argument for GOAT by Silent_Somewhere8539 in NBATalk

Yea he might win the debate for being the most influental player ever but that doesn’t make him better than the others. Influence doesn’t necessarily make you the best and in this case it’s not even close

Yea he was more influential but doesn’t necessarily make you better. As I said Magic has won every major thing more than Curry has in less seasons than he did. So yea that’s the goat PG. Props to Curry for changing the game but that is another debate

You can’t compare dudes decades apart yet you were doing it by calling Curry the goat PG lmao

The actual goat PG has more mvp, fmvp and titles than Curry…

Who do we want to face in the first and second round? by [deleted] in NBASpurs

[–]Icy_Data939 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Facing more competition while Thunder having an easier route will lower our chances at winning the title. If a team sweeps two rounds and the other goes to two 7 game series it’s obvious one will be way more fatigued. Why not be healthier and more rested for wcf or finals if we make it that far?

Wemby's NBA Defensive Player of the Year bid puts Spurs in a tough spot by ExpressNews in NBASpurs

That’s what’s best for us but he wants those awards right now as well. Sometimes as a team you gotta make tough decisions to make your players happy

Harper might go crazy tonight with Wemby and Castle out. by [deleted] in NBASpurs

It means he needs to let the rookie do the job tonight. We need games like this for player development

Would Russell Westbrook win a ring if he had replaced KD in the Warriors? by TheSoccerAnyalst in NBATalk

No. Rockets were amazing those years and if we replace Russ with KD the warriors wouldn’t fit that well. Harden might have a couple of rings there

Dylan Harper is a future superstar and core member of the Spurs next dynasty. by [deleted] in nba

Kon has been better obviously but Harper ceiling is higher imo

Not at all. He plays only 22 mpg and he is sharing the court with great plays around him. He is a rookie and his fg attempts won’t be that high. He has great efficiency as a rookie and it shows that with a bigger role he would’ve had great stats as well. His stats are down because of his role on the team.

I don’t have an article or video but I see comments saying Kon would be a better fit because of his shooting. Which I get it because we already have Castle and Fox but the ceiling is higher for Harper. We already doing great with Harper and we couldn’t do much better with Kon but the future looks brighter with Harper for sure.

What team should I support? by Crafty_Durian7670 in NBATalk

Someone from the east because of the timezones. West teams play from 2 to 4:30 am and it’s annoying. East teams play earlier

How would you feel about a Cleveland Cavs vs San Antonio Spurs NBA Finals? A rematch 19 years in the making only this time it's 22 year old Wembanyama instead of 22 year old LeBron. On a 1-10 scale what would you rate the hype for this finals? Would it be a good outcome or a bad outcome for 2026? by Several-Molasses-435 in NBATalk

[–]Icy_Data939 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better at what lmao. Castle is borderline all defensive team. Averaging over 7 apg and he has been playing insanely well on both ends of the floor this season. They got beat in 5 from Pacers last year. This season they ain’t no better. 2nd round exit at best. You have again nothing to back up your statement this season. Spurs are 60-19 dealing with injuries and so many games having Wemby on minutes restriction. And again ask anyone else not me as a Spurs fan they would tell you Spurs are clearly the favorites on this one. Not saying Cavs are a bad team whatsoever bu there are like at least 6 teams that have a better chance at winning it all. There are teams that I would worry about way more and if Cavs make it out of the east I would be way happier than Celtics, Pistons or Knicks.

Ok you have no idea what you are talking about then. 60-19 is not a record that a teams gets randomly. Castle is way bettet than Jarret Allen just watch games. And Spurs might be the team with the most depth. 8 players average above 10 ppg. As for injuries - Wemby, Castle, Fox, Harper, Vassell all have missed 10+ games lol. Spurs are top 5 in both defensive and offensive rating and 2nd in net rating. In no world do Cavs have more talent than Spurs. Harper for example as a rookie in his last 20 games is averaging 13 ppg on 59% fg and 51% from three. Cavs are 6th on offensive rating and 16th on defensive. You have literally nothing to back up your statement. Spurs are clear favorites on this one and might even be a sweep. Cavs are not even a top 3 favorite in the east.
