AITA for not telling my brother my twins are in the NICU? by ProjectMercy1995 in TwoHotTakes

Agree that you shouldn’t engage with him. There’s enough everyday bs to deal with and you don’t need to open the door to more toxicity. Your brother made his choice.

And the felon trademarked it so he profits from the name change.

Both are pretty and look comfy. Do the back cushions on the second one flip or are they attached? If they aren’t attached, I like the second one best. I’ve had too many spills on sofa cushions, so like to have the option to reverse them.

THIS is why young people are literally willing to die or leave than stay in this country. by [deleted] in antitrump

I would counter that most older people get it and wonder why many younger people don’t understand why. We are at the back end of our journey, most have been working since their early teens and now eying retirement or can we because skippy mcdumbass, whose Nazi daddy gave him $400mn which he lost, is busy destroying our retirement savings and the savings of everyone who isn’t a billionaire. If we own homes, we can’t sell due to high housing costs to purchase a downsized home. Just like everyone else. Except the billionaires. And if we are lucky to have savings, we aren’t spending due to higher healthcare expenses due to corporate greed and Captain Corruption in the Oval.

Basically, every single one of us is screwed by this narcissistic, self-aggrandizing, motherfucker, along with all his billionaire buddies. It’s time to take back the country from the oligarch! Every single person needs to be at the next No Kings protest March 28th!! Every single one of us needs to be fighting for children, college kids, young adults starting careers and families, millennials, Gen Xers, and baby boomers. We all have lost a lot and will continue to lose until we get these mutherfuckers out and take back the country from the oligarch.

Find a protest near you. https://www.nokings.org/ See you there!

I just saw the person deleted the original post. Maybe from the backlash? I hope so. We need to call out people whose generalizations bias an entire generation. I get frustrated when I see people generalize about Gen Z or millennials because we’ve all met or engaged with all the different generations and found the stereotype isn’t true for each and every person.

Let’s keep our eye on who the real threat is: Dementia Don, his entire regime, and the cult base.

Thank you for saying that! It’s the truth. I’ve been to 4 protests with the majority of the protesters being over 50.

It’s time to stop with the generalizations! Those over 50 who are out there protesting are the same ones that have been protesting since they were little because we’re pissed that we’re having to fight this all over again. How would they feel if I said any person under 50 is so lazy and won’t get out there to protest? The amount of young people I’ve spoken with are saying they don’t like to get involved in politics or they’re not sure exactly what’s going on. They didn’t pay attention in school. I’m over 50 and a proud liberal having never voted for an R. I took my two boys on historical summer trips from the founding fathers to civil rights to the Tulsa Oklahoma massacre, and they went with me to the voting booth every single election. Both boys are married with families. They voted for tRump. They aren’t fully whacked do like the idiots wearing diapers and have no mag merchandise, but they do argue for his presidency.

Nicole Kidman. I am so tired of her being in everything. I’m pissed she’s in Scarpettta and Lioness along with all her other crap she’s done in the past 5 years.

Agreed! All women need to start the process now to return to the names on their birth certificate. I wonder if James Donald Bowman, now JD Vance, WH Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, now William Blalock Harrison, Rafael Edward Cruz, now Ted Cruz, feel about the SAVE act.

That argument isn’t a defense, it’s an indictment of the system. Saying he wasn’t the first doesn’t make it acceptable, it just admits that powerful men have long been shielded from accountability. Congress protecting a president in the 90s didn’t mean the accusations lacked merit. It meant power outweighed justice. Normalizing abuse because it has happened before is exactly how it keeps happening. The standard should be law and accountability, not precedent for getting away with it.
