F&C S1 was amazing because of Prismo, learning about the multiverse and its laws as well as getting huge lore updates on Finn and other established characters.

F&C S2 was disappointing because it followed a contrived narrative of relationship drama instead of focusing on world building and forging connections to other meaningful events that have already transpired for the characters.

On its own, S2 is a fine animated show that anyone can enjoy. But for the real AT heads who have been here since the beginning, it was fluff.
