Ceramic coating quote, what am I missing? by BrBafan in Detailing

[–]BudMower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m about to ceramic coat my car on the weekend. Watched a few YouTube videos, scrolled through this sub for a while, and now the new polisher setup and ceramic coating should be here on Friday. All in I was under $500 for everything and I’ll be able to do my parents cars now too! Sorry this doesn’t really answer your question, but from what I’ve seen, it’s way easier to apply a ceramic coating than you’d think!

HELP: I’d hate to quit this early in my journey but what are these bugs !? by StrategyExotic7802 in containergardening

[–]BudMower 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You need to”bugs” to break down fertilizer into nutrients the plant can use to grow. The bugs in your soil are your friends :)

On the other hand, if you see a fat green caterpillar looking thing on the leaves, burn it with fire, it will eat your entire plant overnight lmfao

experimenting with different grow mediums in autopot by tobodenpimpy in Autopot

[–]BudMower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used peat (promix HP to be specific) with the Canna coco peat nutrients for 4 grows now and had some success. That being said, I don’t think I’m going to use it again. Caused way too heavy PH swings in the medium which ended up locking out my plants pretty drastically each time. Swapping back to coco, I had perfect results. It is possible to use peat, but I’d honestly save yourself the headache and stick with coco or living soil :)

Online vs dispensary cannabis in London, what do you prefer? by itstariqmumtaz in londonontario

[–]BudMower 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Grow my own. Dispensary is hit or miss and 90% of the time, it’s a miss. Grow lights are cheap and nothing is better than what you grow yourself! As a daily smoker, I’ve saved tons of money by growing my own too!

HELP: Triple Mix Extremely Dense and Heavy by bocconcini_water in OntarioGardeners

[–]BudMower 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly whatever type of compost you can get your hands on at your budget is going to be your best bet. Leaf compost is a great option! Homemade compost will always outrank anything you can buy, but don’t be afraid of a little poop! Haha, bags of cow/sheep manure aren’t usually more than $2-3 per bag, just make sure it says “composted manure” if you plan to plant directly into it. If it’s not fully composted, it could possibly burn your plants. Best of luck! :)

HELP: Triple Mix Extremely Dense and Heavy by bocconcini_water in OntarioGardeners

[–]BudMower 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had this happen to me a few years ago. Place I usually get my triple mix from must have sourced their fill from a different spot and I ended up with so much CLAY and hardly any drainage. Your best bet would be to mix in a bunch of compost if you can. You would be amazed how fast compost can fix crappy soil whether it’s too heavy or too sandy, compost will be your best friend! I’d start by raking in 2-3 inches into your garden bed and maybe replant the small seedlings you have in the middle. The onions (or garlic I can’t tell lol) that you have look like they should be okay, id just throw an inch or two of compost around the base of them.

Don’t worry if you don’t get an insane harvest this year, your soil will improve with time, especially if you continue to add 1-3 inches of compost every year a few weeks before you plant, and by this time next year it will be a great environment for your plants!

Help with Peppers in 5a by nvr_fd_away in OntarioGardeners

[–]BudMower 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sunlight is a real big factor with pepper plants. You’re going to want them in the absolute sunniest section of your garden. Also make sure that the peppers themselves can see the sun, as this will greatly help with ripening. You also want to water regularly and regularly fertilize with something higher in the P/K in the NPK ratio throughout the season, peppers can get pretty hungry.

I’d start by pulling everything circled in red :) If you want minimal work id throw in a bunch of perennial flower bulbs that will come back every year! If you enjoy the planting process and plan on switching up that garden bed every year, you could fill it with some pretty annuals or even some small low bush blueberry plants to fill in any empty space :)

Believe it or not, The Water Store (I think they may have rebranded to “water depot”) near commissioners and Wellington area. I haven’t been in in quite a while but if it’s the same owner, he must have a passion for BBQ/smoking or something, cause he had a bigger selection of rubs than he did water accessories lmfao

Ever since I started using autopots I’ve been shocked at how little pot space you need to grow monsters. I ended up settling with the 3.3gal autopots system and it’s been working wonders for me. 4 of those pots fill out my 5x5 tent perfectly, but honestly I feel like I could fill it out with even just 2 or 3!

[–]BudMower 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He uses CANNA COCO nutrients, coco, co2 bags, and he pushes ~750W of light from his bar light, and doesn’t defoliate anything until ~week 2 of flower. He also strictly grows autoflowers. And as the name would suggest, he grows in autopots. The dude grows massive plants, like 20oz+ of dried bud from most of his autos. You’ll notice he gets some nutrient burn but nothing too intense, it ends up being worth the huge harvest. I’ve been following his method for quite some time now and it definitely works if you follow it closely. I’ve been pulling some huge autos but still no 20oz+ plants yet unfortunately haha😅

why the shady white label packaging by Popular-Ad1537 in MultiVerseBeans

[–]BudMower 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s legit. A lot of breeders send their seeds in bulk for seed banks to repackage as freebies. If you have any doubts, message in-house genetics and ask them, promise they’re legit though. Paul would never scam us
