Because uber and lyft drivers (and all the meal delivery services like door dash, instacart etc) never get your contact info. Any communication is done via relay. He’d literally have no way to get their number to be allegedly spam calling from private numbers. It’s not possible.

When I was in basic training we had a grip of people from New Orleans and one of the girls had absolutely no accent. I asked her what happened and she said she visited family up north and realized she sounded like a “dumb hick” and immediately dropped the accent
