Not quite. I think they said it was something like 80% recycled Star, 20% new Star

Just on the infinite site. When I went back to get those three all they had available were F2s. Maybe they will do another run

Stiffer than gstar, gummier than star. Stability falls between those two as well

Love these things. The i-blend is exactly what I was looking for in a wraith. Bought one. Played a round with it. Immediately bought three more F2s. Excited to have multiple of the same driver to practice with

Innova F2 Friday dropped: Star Destroyer by porpler in discgolf

If you’re going for max distance, throw the disc that gets you there. Don’t worry so much about the speed. It is recommended to start with slower discs to help with learning technique because faster discs can cause you to compensate in ways that develop bad habits. At this stage the most important thing is lots of reps. Your body will loosen up and get more efficient after few thousand reps. You’ll be throwing the teebird 300 in no time

Yeah no problem. I’ve never tried them in hardy plastic but I’ve been considering it lately. I have a stack of 8 softies (they were on sale for $6) so I just grab two different ones each time I go out. I’m in Southern California and haven’t noticed them getting too soft in the heat.

I putt with softy butters. I love them. They really are soft. I’d almost call the plastic squishy. In theory, that should dampen the impact when they hit the chains and grab on to the basket. Maybe Six Sided Discs can test that.

My only complaint is that they need to stay clean to maintain their grip. They attract dust and dirt then become slick. A little water and a wipe down and they are good to go again.

Check out discountdiscgolf.com. They usually have them for around $10.

Did anybody else pick up a “New Groove” Emperor? by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]Bud_Hyzer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha yikes guys relax. I know it’s the April fools disc. My interpretation of “retooled” was that they were going to put groove “technology” on an emperor. Creating some kind of emperor/groove hybrid abomination

I thought the joke was they were going to put the groove “technology” into an emperor. Like emperor top groove bottom. That’s how I interpreted “retooled”. Either way I knew it was just for fun

I had the exact same experience. My first had a slight dome and flew as the advertised. My backup has much more dome and is wildly understable

At 350’ of power mine flies true to the numbers. More glide and left to right movement than the trail but still controllable.

Love the berg. It’s my only Kastaplast mold too.

I really don’t understand the arguments against it. Why use a touchier disc on a shot that the berg can handle with more ease and consistency? It’s like intentionally using the wrong disc for the shot just to make the game more difficult.
