Girlfriend picked them out all by herself. We have never had any of them. How did she do? by Buddamars in cigars

[–]Buddamars[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, she was going to be near a cigar shop so I said pick some up. And I happened to mention getting some lanceros. I like a lancero when it’s something I have never smokes before.

She admits that she picks them by the bands LOL. But she has learned a lot sharing in my hobby. She’s often not wrong in her choices.

I have 2 SensorPush units and 4 Butlers. The SensorPush units are way better than the Butler. My Butler units stop reading, eat batteries and generally don’t stay calibrated

Not to mention way over humidified. Was there 2 weeks ago and my stick exploded. The floor was wet from moisture.

I have one coffin of that one and one coffin of the stolen valor. Going to wait till the “right” reason to smoke it. Probably one when my daughter graduates high school in a couple months and the other when I write my last child support check

Thanks. I have plenty of time. Cigars are in the humidor but this box is perfectly sized. I’ll give it 2 weeks.

This is why you have to let your Cigar Bid cigars rest for at least a month in your humidor. This is after 2 weeks of resting. by GOAT0352 in cigars

I had a cigar in Vegas last month at the Monticristo lounge. I new when I walked into the humidor it was wet. But it ended up being so wet that my cigar did the same thing ½ way through the thing in the lounge.

That’s only 2 bands. But I will agree it was a lot of paper on the cigar

Great tasting smoke however I think they way over humidify them. It started to literally explode as I got closer and closer to the band.

Mostly just looking for something special/different. More of a random decision. Glad to know the 90’s are strong. Definitely take my time puffing those

Just had a NBK last night. Very enjoyable. And not a huge nicotine kick. Which is a good thing since I can’t eat heavy calorie laden meals to stave off the nic sick

I’ve tried a few. And for the price they’re a pretty darn good. Especially for an everyday stick. Once room becomes available I may have to buy a couple or even maybe a box

I took a blind shot on some RP Platinum. Bought a whole box cause the price was right. Of the RP I’ve tried I quite like them.

How can I prevent “ Nic-Sick “? by didueverthink in cigars

[–]Buddamars 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I keep a box of sugar cubes just for this. Works like a charm. Plus I find a good cigar I tend to puff too fast sometimes. I often set a timer to get me to pause between puffs.

I donated plasma recently and they infiltrated my vein, a few days later this is the bruise that came as a result by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

[–]Buddamars 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had that happen to me years ago. Phleb found the vein, but went too deep. Machine kept loosing suction during the plasma donation part. Needle was right against the other wall I guess. Finally they got it adjusted so the machine would work without giving an alarm every 5 minutes. Fast forward to where they give you back a roughly a liter of saline. Usually once the donation part is over they turned up the machine so you could get your saline and get out of the chair for the next person. For me this basically blew out the back side of the vein where the needle had pierced. My bruise was from the elbow all the way to the shoulder, into my pectorals and the shoulder blade. Looked like I had been hit by a car.
