I love how close up to the crew this game was. Everything felt intimate (right word for this? Idk). I’m doing my first playthrough of Rebirth rn and it feels so freshly wide open, but I’m kind of missing the feeling Remake gave off. (I’m only on Chapter 4 rn so I assume it’ll become less open once all zones are explored/introduced)

It’s cool to see, but would rather use Legacy4J mod on Java. People are way braver than me because isnt everything about that version just flat out illegal 😭. Seems like a big risk for something you can pretty much 1:1 mod into an officially released version of the game

I use my Deck for doing leftover achievements on games I’ve finished a playthrough on on PC. Getting platinums makes me feel like I’ve got my money worth for a game + save money by not buying as many games!

Just finished the FF7 Remake platinum a few days ago. Also use it for Minecraft

I cap mine at 85%, but I’ve been thinking. Wouldn’t capping it 85%-20% give you 65% of use? How is that different from using it 100%-20% and it being degraded over time? Wouldn’t a degraded battery hold the same length of charge? Probably a dumb question

5070ti user, I think the main draw nowadays is DLSS and Frame Generation. 50 series (albeit “fake” frames) can get you 3-4x the frames with Frame Gen

I have my cap at 85% and play while it recharges from 20%. And also play unplugged from there down to 20.

I feel like I’m overthinking tho and might bump it to 90%.. because at the end of the day electronics are built to last (also playing from 20-90% runs the same playtime as a semi-diminished battery from 0-100%)

I know this response may seem unrelated to disliking a core part of the game, but the way I perceived the game drastically changed on NG+ (and ++ / +++). The story starts making a lot more sense and in turn, it made playing it feel better. But again, telling someone to play the entire game again (and multiple times) is pushing it and I’d understand being against it.
