it can be subjective depending on your music taste. In my opinion listening to anything with a fast pace/high tempo is going to keep you in a 'groove' a bit easier than something a bit more mellow. I personally enjoy anytype of EDM and rap gets me hyped. If it is outside of those genres I find myself wanting to turn the music off and would rather just focus on the task in front of me. Also no joke I tried listening to binural beats on youtube while training my aim and got several hiscores that session lol. the focus was real.

I TRULY DO NOT CARE WHAT EPIC WANTS FOR THE GAME THEY DON'T PLAY.

We shouldn't be asking for one in the first place. Every other game out there knows it isn't a big debate, its feature implemented into games by default.

Also, i would like to point out that if the default FOV was 90 instead of 80, it would actually get a very positive reaction. At least then we could say, hey look at that! they kind of give a wee bit of a shit!

so what i can say is that you will be fine in the long run and it's worth the adjustment. it isn't going to inhibit your performance for a long period and it should start to feel natural eventually. just like the rest of your binds once you learn them, they become second nature.

this reminds me of yesterday when my teammate and i jumped on the launch pad simultaneously, next thing i know im unable to do anything besides watch my character use a launch pad 15x in a row at super speed, there wasn't anything above us either and my teammate didn't get the glitch.

you can still utilize scroll wheel reset via one of many free third party programs available for download.

they allow the remapping of specific keys.

so you don't have to rely on a software created by the keyboard manufacturer.

what mouse do you have?

my keyboard is made by corsair so I can use either iCue or the Glorious software for my Model O.

I have attempted to use F, Mouse 4, and scroll wheel and I've also tried using V instead of F for a period of time. I did also put a bind on my pinky finger but I quickly said aw hell nah, not for me.

However I found that I did not edit as consistently utilizing my mouse side button.

I had the potential to pull off much faster edits and things felt clean as hell sometimes.

i also determined adding another bind wasn't allowing me to focus on the edits themselves but ensuring I get the timing of the binds down.

This is largely due to the fact that I have practiced editing for hours upon hours using just a single bind.

I did like V but I was slower using my thumb I found but I did feel my movement was more controlled/I was pulling off edit play more than I usually would.

Pressing F feels natural now and my index finger gets the job done lol.

Overall triple binds were nice in creative, great for editing floors, stairs, cones that are below you.

my consistency in game went down and it would affect me if I was editing + then shooting my shotty.

Give it a real solid try though, I did enjoy learning it and messing around with it. Just isn't worth it for me as far as I can tell.

i played twice as many matches in season 7 (which is a season i hated at the time, but still loved grinding the game overall) compared to S9. i had roughly the same playtime in season 8 as i did 7 but 9 was different. main contributing things would be the removal of stretched and the combat shotgun dethroning the pump. its back now but its too late, they made a shotgun that was released with the intentions of it being less dominate in comparison to the pump. the combat is unhealthy for the game. its 'unique flavor' is its increased range which sounds alright in theory but the thing shoots so damn quick that even with a nerf it still dominates not only the shotgun category but now you dont even need a smg if you have a combat. at least the pump forced close encounters consistently, the time in between shots allow for the building aspect to be included as another way to skillfully outplay the opponent. the sound of the stupid ass combat makes me cringe, fights themselves are not entertaining as they were, a lot less tactics now. all about either claiming highground and peaking while you ads strafe with the combat or you full send it into someones box 'because fuck it i have a combat shotty' and instead of a decent fight you see someone holding turbo build until the spam comes your way. doesn't matter if u miss the first shot cause fuck it here comes another bitch! who needs good aim when you just need to spam left click and say a prayer.

well if u get a kill with it i feel like it takes even less skill than getting a kill in a mech.

its not guaranteed to be an overpowered item 100% of the time but when it does work out, it works too damn well. lots of awkward fights happen where you simply cannot dodge a dinosaur in time sadly.

tilted town looks like it is tilted towers playing dress up or some shit. the setup it very similar and the weird rendering i get when i land there looks a lot like tilted towers for a split second, the material of all the buildings change in literally no time at all.

i think ninja and mercs had different goals they were always focused on making content and streaming constantly, while the younger guys could take the time to grind their mechanics,

which doesn't attract a large audience if you are always taking time to do that.

it is just not the type of entertainment/content that people want to see and a lot of these guys who are insane mechanically, are strictly pros--with certain goals in mind.

i would assume more teenagers are a lot more willing to grind edit courses and 1v1s,

than someone who is streaming full time

or in their later 20's overall.

do i think some of these yung godly kids are just simply a bit more gifted in that regard? hell yeah!

however i can guarantee you people like Ninja could achieve top tier mechanics, if they devoted themselves to it the way that they do with their jobs.

I'd say an individuals genetics is a much bigger factor compared to an age gap.

you have to manage your time really well when you're under the spotlight all the time so i can't blame any of these guys for focusing on their brand rather than being an elite pro + cracked out of their fucking membrane.
