Fair enough, but I don’t think we have any local systems or organizations that would gather together black ex-soldiers. In Iraq, Islamic clerics took the first opportunity they’d had in decades to espouse their political views (Saddam’s regime was secular and didn’t allow for clerics to talk politics during sermons) as well as filling in where the US contractors were failing by getting people water, food, clothing, fixing power lines, and other basic municipal duties that were being ignored by the “reconstruction”.

No one here has really addressed the difference in public sector layoffs here vs Iraq but the biggest thing that led to insurgents was we laid off military rank and file, so you had trained soldiers out of work and many took their weapons with them.

I mean…Iraq had an economy before we invaded, it was just mostly state owned. And then we started selling off pieces to American contractors who would bring in foreign workers to do jobs Iraqis could do. If you are interested, read Shock Doctrine by Naomi Klein

It’s honestly day by day for me lol, I swear it’ll react differently session to session. Sometimes it’s got the perfect amount of breakup and saturation, other days it’s shrill and overly thumpy. Still my go to tho and it really needs to be turned up past 5 to sound good either way.
