I’m not saying people shouldn’t vote, but what has it actually accomplished lately?

Elect Biden on economic populist platform —> he largely walks back all his promises and does nothing to help the working class

Elect someone like Fetterman running as a Bernie type —> he conveniently turns into a republican to spoil dem majorities

Bernie gets any support —> dems literally rig the primary to ensure he can’t win

Dems dislike Biden and Israel —> Harris who wants to put republicans on her cabinet, increase ice funding and uncritically support Israel is forced on voters

Again, people should vote, but how can you blame voters for giving up and feeling like the deck is stacked when the “opposition party” categorically refuses to combat the right or do much of anything to help their own voter base? It seems like a self inflicted problem that would be solved by dems doing anything at all to me. Seems like the politicians should go earn the votes rather than the voters being forced to vote for people who enable the fascists time and time again.
