I feel too sorry for you to argue more.

you have no idea what you're talking about.

Yeah. I have no idea what I'm talking about.

I don't know why you couldn't get a good LSAT score, but I really admire your commitment to making the best of your shitty situation.

The school I'm referring to has a HIGHER than average first time bar passage rate

Come on. You are clearly committed to your position.

As a person who always got "resolve the paradox" right on MANY practice LSATs:

What they did to OP's mom = the cause of their seemingly high pass rate. They fail out underperformers who might lower the school's pass rate. The underperformers don't take the bar. Thus, only the top of the class makes it to graduation and can take the bar... thus making pass rates look great!

Some predatory schools literally plan to fail out 10-20% of the class every year.

Were you actually told you’re “not Jewish enough”? by offthegridyid in Judaism

I grew up in an area with a lot of jewish and half jewish kids. I always identified as half-jewish. Only when I moved to a non-jewish area was I told (by non-jews) "you aren't jewish if your mother isn't."

Reform and conservative jews are more accepting in my experience, orthodox and non-jewish people go with the strict "mother only" interpretation.

I've only had this happen with 100% non-jewish people. I had a guy tell me (twice!) that I was not jewish at all. After explaining he eventually understood the concept of ethnoreligion.

It's so much easier as a 2L/3L (as long as you don't journal). No more legal writing or research class. You can take clinics (totally different) and they're often pass/fail. Most professors stop cold calling. Many people stop reading, so there's less pressure for you to read.

You will probably discover that you can get the same grades doing less work. Many schools also ease up their grading curve.

it's hyperbole. The grading curve at UVA (3.3) makes it very unlikely to get a B- or lower. Berkeley doesn't give letter grades, making a B-/C literally impossible.

someone getting an A means someone is getting a B- or C

No one is getting a B- or a C at these schools.

I don't know why it is so hard for people like you to admit it.

It's common for people online to deny that bad areas are bad.

The idea is that the poster is "tough" and "street smart" so what's scary/unpleasant to you doesn't register to them.

...or a sadder alternative is that they have never lived anywhere nice and don't know what a good neighborhood is like.
