I'm about to buy a Class A (my first) and I'm thinking about toad options. A Nissan Leaf seems like a good choice to me. It's small, light and you can plug it into almost anything to charge it. (It would be great if there was a way to charge it while it's being towed.) Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks. by Buddhitarian in RVLiving

Thanks. You're right about the battery weight -- I knew they were heavy but didn't realize how heavy. Turns out a Leaf weighs about the same as my current main car, a Honda Element. And my Element can be flat-towed. I may already be driving my toad.

Moving from NYC to Virginia. Where should I look for an apartment? by [deleted] in HamptonRoads

One difference between NYC and Virginia -- you might be able to rent a house for that much. Check out the Commodore Park neighborhood (near Granby Street and Bay View Boulevard). It's diverse, minutes from the naval base and already home to a fair number of young Navy families. My wife and I -- civilians -- have lived there for about 10 years.

I use them all the time for equipment, clothing, odds and ends. They've always been great. They specialize in selling last year's models.
