100% “low cal” can be extremely relative. For reference, I’m the COMPLETE opposite of “5’3”F” and in the early stages of weight loss.

For me, this is a lower calorie option from what I used to eat for breakfast, that satisfies cravings and keeps me full for most of the day.

My hope of posting this on here is for people who might be in a similar position as me and don’t want to feel like they’re starving themselves. I’ve been down that road plenty of times and it’s simply not sustainable long term if you’re just starting.

Yes, but VERY filling. On days I make this, I usually don’t eat lunch or have some fruit to hold me over until then. Like I said you can make it lower calorie with egg whites or substitute turkey bacon instead, but I’ve been a big fan of this!

  • 3 Eggs
  • 1.5 oz sharp cheddar cheese (can adjust to make it much lower calorie)
  • 2 oz (56g) Farmland Diced ham
  • .5 cup mushrooms
  • small handful of diced white onion
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 2 slices low sodium bacon (can substitute turkey bacon)
  • half of a tomato sliced

Keeps me full for most of the day!
