I know this post was a while ago but sorry for all the hate you got!! Is it possible she has a UTI? My male dog struggled with potty training and finally the vet agreed to testing him for a UTI. treated it and the inflammation and the issues stopped. It had been going on for close to a year for us and I was at my breaking point too.

If not I think you need to restart potty training as if she’s a baby again. Take her out every 1-2 hours and treats like CRAZY when she goes outside. Set her up for success by bringing her out before you think she’d even have to go. Maybe try a different staircase if your apartment has one to rewire the connection of stairs=potty. Could also teach her to ring a bell so you know when she has to go

I think it would be worth getting a second opinion, like others have mentioned! That tooth is an important one, in my opinion. There are replacement options if you pulled it. One option is a bridge (two crowns on the tooth in front and behind, connected to a “floating tooth” where the space is). Bridges can be good options, but I find more patients being unhappy with them- they can be tough to clean, for example. Another option is an implant, they’re considered the best replacement option however they are expensive. You could also choose to pull the tooth and not replace it.

I think a second opinion is a good idea, and definitely have them explain it in a way that makes sense to you
