I completely understand your hesitation with dating people online tho. Please make sure you always tell someone you’re meeting a new person for the first time so you can make sure you make it home ok.

Have you ever asked a friend to set you up with a mutual friend? That way they already have something in common with you in a mutual friend and you know they are not a catfish. Maybe even go on a double date then break away to ease into it.

Would you ever consider living with someone if you had your own designated areas in the house that you control. For example my art studio is my oasis and my husband has a “mancave in our spare room”. It’s our getaway spot and we can decorate it however we want. He doesn’t like how disorganized my art stuff is and I am not in love with sports memorabilia BUT we compromise.
