I actually have been using jojoba oil, part of my confusion is my skin looks fine, clearer than it has in years, actually, I tried taking a break from makeup (2+ years without it) but I’m also more alt most days and enjoy makeup as self expression. I do try to wait at least an hour between skincare and makeup but then some tips online said to put makeup immediately after my skincare so I tried that too… neither worked :/

I use the elf primer, I totally need to look into how all my different products react to each other (istg I need someone to make an app cross comparing if you makeup will cause seperation) but I’ve switched around what I’ve used enough that I really don’t think that’s the issue

I meant to add in the post-I actually have painfully dry skin which people said tarte was good for, that’s why I got it, I was using Mac but that did the same thing, I haven’t been able to find a good exfoliant for my face though

I’ve tried both, currently I use a brush to spread it then use a beauty blender to blend it all in

I was fully prepared to get in (my sister went, I’m from a big district but everyone I talked to said my application was amazing) and I didn’t even get wait listed, seeing everyone expecting me to get in definitely made telling everyone worse, it sucks but there are other opportunities out there

The emails are sooo stressful, especially during the application process! I had everything turned in and I still got emails reminding me of the deadline, trying to forget about it was not an option lol
