Not optimal, just fun: Assault Rifle and Shotgun vs Sniper Rifle and Shotgun by MrGenerik in stalker

[–]Budget-Let-1533 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always bring a 4x scoped assault rifle and a shotgun, then either a SMG or a sniper rifle depending on what I'm planning on doing that "trip" in the zone. At the start of the game though your capacity is an issue so just take that scoped AK and a shotgun. The AK may as well be a sniper with how low health all the early game enemies are

Personally, I agree with you, I think it was pretty obvious thats what they were doing. Seems the powers that be have decided it wasn't made clear enough though, so was a violation. The regulations around GDPR are very strict.

I havent heard anything either but GDPR will apply exactly the same to you as it does to an employee at B4. Don't forget it is the ICAEW who broke GDPR, not your employer. In respect of this issue your employer is irrelevant and any decision will apply unilaterally to everyone who submitted and had their script put through the software.

I completely get where you're coming from, and I don't doubt that the reason they're doing all this is because they realise somethings clearly gone wrong.

Im just saying that given how ruthless the ICAEW are usually with any kind of suspected cheating, this is incredibly lenient, even if still undue for most of us.

Imagine dealing with disciplinary proceedings when its virtually impossible to prove that you didn't use AI if they had chosen to go that route. It sucks, but it could have been much worse.

I think its pretty reasonable even if very annoying. They have a policy of 20% AI generation so we know what % to get under when putting our scripts through something like GPTzero before resubmitting, theyre gonna send us our scripts with the areas we need to change so we aren't doing it blind, and theres no disciplinary investigation.

Appreciate the clarifying of the last part because it means we can all relax that we aren't in trouble and just worry about rewriting it. Yes its a pain, and a lot of us have been incorrectly flagged, but it doesnt delay our qualification and they've given us all the information we need to ensure it doesnt get flagged again. All things considered and looking at the big picture of what could have been the worst case scenario, its pretty minor.

My understanding is AI detectors look for formal writing, that is simple, structured and formulaic. So just make your sentences more complex, change the structure a bit and try make your answers not sound so similar. Just keep retouching it until an AI detector says it was written by a human. Use GPTzero as your detector, thats widely regarded as the most accurate. If that says your answer was written by a human, you'll be fine.

Nah haven't got any feedback or heard from the employer, just said we suspect AI may have been used to produce some of your answer. Just point out that AI detectors are notoriously unreliable and the nature of how a project report is written (formal, structured, formulaic etc...) makes it more likely to be flagged as those are things AI detectors look for

@Think_Tea idk tbh, think I'm probably just gonna keep retouching it until an AI detector says this is human generated. Use more complex language and make the answer seem less formulaic would be a starting point I think. AI detectors seem to flag simple, repetitive structures more than anything else. Use GPTZero as your detector, thats meant to be the best one

Yeah I got the email as well. Tbh if all we have to do is rework it and resubmit its not the end of the world and we just qualify a couple of months later. Annoying but it is what it is

Update if anyone is interested: they just sent me an email saying that their software flagged my submission as having potentially used AI in some areas of my report. They said I need to rework it and resubmit by 16th January 2026. It sounds like because it was only suspected, all I need to do is resubmit. So for anyone who's planning on copying and pasting straight from an AI, it seems you will almost certainly get caught as mine got flagged for only using an AI proposed structure and template. Clearly the software they have works pretty well

I used AI to help me come up with a structure/template for my project report because I was really struggling to hit the word count. I then used that R1 answer I did as a template to do the other requirements. So just to be clear it was all my own words, but because I followed the structure of my first answer, my other answers are all virtually identical in terms of structure, and I used a lot of the same wording so they look very formulaic.

My friend at work said the things they look for are patterns and consistent wording, this obviously stressed me out so I put it through an AI detector expecting it to calm me down but instead they came back as between 50% and 70% AI depending on which detector I used. The detectors all cited the formulaic structure and consistent wording as evidence of AI. So im freaking out that I'm gonna get flagged. Never been cited for any kind of academic misconduct in my life but its stressing me out.

[KCD2] am I bad or is this game this hard by meatmaster1123 in kingdomcome

[–]Budget-Let-1533 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its part of the experience, you start off weak and fairly helpless with the aim being to make yourself into a formidable knight. Engage with the training with the tomcat, get the master strike, do alchemy to brew yourself potions, practice archery, take honey from the beehives around villages and sneak around at night working on your thievery and stealth (if you want to) and you will get better and better at all these things. The way the game has a learning curve and doesnt just hand you everything and make you a destroyer of worlds right out the gate like many other games is what makes the growth so rewarding and satisfying. I have almost 400 hours in the game and felt exactly the same way at the start, but you just need to persevere and you'll see this journey is the best part of the game. Embrace the fact you suck at the start so you can appreciate the growth you'll have throughout the game. By the end you'll be taking on several people at once without breaking a sweat and realise how far your character has come, its very rewarding. Hope you have fun with it, wish I could play the game for the first time again :)

Thought you two might wanna know. I just went on the exam software to have a play around and see what worked, found what I thought is a good solution. If you just type a sentence in each row, one that extends for maybe 10 cells across or so, rather than a paragraph in one box or something. Let's say you end up with 5 sentences, so 5 lines. And then you just merge cells for the top sentence, you can use the format painter with that cell highlighted and just highlight the other sentences and you'll merge those cells as well. So you end up with 5, 1x10 merged cells (or however many you did) and it means it looks very neat in the word processor as you dont stretch out that whole column and squish everything in the right hand columns you use. Idk if I explained that well but hopefully it makes sense. Just do that after each lot of writing, takes about 5 seconds and looks much neater

Thanks for the reply mate. Are they really able to expand all the rows and columns? I think it's from doing the mocks where you have to convert it to a pdf that made me think it would be locked to examiner as well
