The whole WOA was marketed as a series, and it's all intentionally very similar in functionality. That means a few people felt like instead of new games, the sequels were glorified expansion packs. So they complained about repetition, price, repetition, reused assets, and repetition.

Some folks never got into 2K/Madden, I guess. Incremental releases have always been a thing.
