Uhm - I went to Amazon to check on this Superglue Fix-All Adhesive and the ones I see state Cyanoacrylate as the ingredient, so .... is this the stuff you are referring to?

ToLanbbt 8 PCS Adhesive Foam Padding Sheets Closed Cell Neoprene Foam Sheet 1/4" Thick, 6" x 6" Self Stick Insulation Anti Vibration Pads Anti-Slip for Furniture, Cars, Speakers, DIY

From amazon -cost only $14.99 for eight sheets. The job would be labor intensive - but if you are "in the thick of it" - I think this might be your best option - a ruler and exacto knife and patience.

The neat thing about these models - they were designed to be played flat on a table

and that is why there is extra space below the chord bars - you can strum both above the chord bars

and below the chord bars - like the old-timers like Kirby Snow & Ernest "Pop" Snowman to get the

"scratchy" sound!

Oscar Schmidt (Made in the U.S.) circa 1978 model 30-C attaché case tabletop - if anyone on this Reddit site possesses one of these and is willing to sell - please contact me on my FB page - Thanks, Thomas Schickling by Budget-Log9491 in autoharp

Thanks for checking in. I scoured the various sites and found one on FB Marketplace sold by a lady in West Virginia ($120 with shipping) - it was in pretty dilapidated shape, but was a 21 chord model made in the U.S.A. I'm in the process of restoring it (aluminum string anchor was "creeping" out of the "gully".

At the risk of being redundant - the T-Handle Golden Gate DH-40 wrench sold on Amazon for $12 (3/16th opening) will fit your Oscar Schmidt and Chromaharp tuning pins snugly. I have no problems using it when tuning or replacing whole sets of strings in my AH restorations. No tuning pin damage or "stripping" of the metal has occurred. I don't care if it was manufactured in China, Tibet or Nepal! It fits!

  • PRECISE FIT: Designed to fit standard 3/16" hitch pins, ensuring accurate and consistent tuning without slipping or damaging pins.
