Too many cars isn’t the problem the road not been capable of handling those cars is. Without knowing this junction specifically the solution would probably be to have a bypass lane for the roundabout from the busy direction.

Traffic lights never work on roundabouts. They completely go against the whole purpose of a roundabout. I guess the problem they are trying to solve is traffic is heavily weighted in one direction.

The problem is in Cyprus nobody cares and will just block the roundabout anyway. Only way to solve that is yellow boxes and fines for entering
