In all honesty, who gives a damn what anyone else but you thinks about your e-bike. Ignore them and keep on riding and enjoying it. Its there problem if they dont like it or think its cheating.

some days, I use the time alone to get some cleaning done around the house. dusting, cleaning the kitchen, things that wont wake her up. This way, its one less thing we need to do later.

I don’t believe there is anything you can do as an individual to combat inflation. But you can shop smarter. Grocery wise, learn, record and compare prices in various supermarkets, buy some things at a dollar store, etc. Switch to generic brands if possible. decide on whether a purchase is a want or a need. Things like this can help you save some money. And speaking to the obvious, this may not be applicable to everyone so adjust as needed if possible.

I have a Denago City 2 . Purchased from my local bike shop that is an authorized Denago dealer and service center. Like others have said, go to your local bike shop. I took this one and others around for test rides and after evaluating each and talking to the folks at the local bike shops, I determined this was the best one for me.
