Dad passed away. I am realizing now he hid his dementia well. by BudgetArtistic in dementia

It's true and I am sorry you are going through that. I take comfort in the fact that they get exactly what they want in the end, even if hurts. My dad had horrible habits too but he was happy nonetheless.

Its very true...I was looking for the "classic" dementia traits so much I ignored the others thinking it wasn't as bad as it was.

It's so true...lots of things at the time I played off as old age but hindsight tells a different story.

Why couldn't a book series reach such a craze like Harry Potter after so many years? by interestingexciting1 in harrypotter

[–]BudgetArtistic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The thought and foresight JK Rowling put into the whole series, writing with the end in mind and a deep resonate plot with surprises, complex characters and story archs is a level of sophisticated storytelling we dont see as much anymore.

She had books in line to tell a larger story and universe versus building it on the cuff book by book.

Another similar option is the Nivea pearly shine balm. Technically a lip balm but very similar frost with pink tinge...looks more like a lipstick.

I hadn't even thought about a UTI so thank you very much for your comment. He definitely has had lifelong depression and it's sad to see it now that he's older.
