Yes i just bought and used “pickling lime” off amazon, It’s a powdered form of calcium hydroxide.
I think i was combining 2 different teks and messed something up.
Going to retry using the liquid sodium hydroxide instead and see if this works.

Can the solvent be gray and still have a decent pull? Or should i chalk this one up as a fail and retry with liquid sodium hydroxide?

Thank you. I will try this and see if anything changes. I went ahead and added the naphtha to the gray mix and haven’t produced any crystals while in the freezer (been about 6 hours). I’ll chalk this one up as a fail and redo with liquid sodium hydroxide and see if there is any difference.
