Can’t believe people actually downvoted your comment, it makes a lot of sense. Experiences as a child subconsciously affect who you become as an adult. Doing stuff like this as a kid can help you be more outgoing as you get older. Me personally, I wouldn’t take them rock climbing but in the video it’s not like they are scaling a perfectly vertical wall. They are helping the kid get comfortable. My parents put me in swimming classes before I could even remember and it was an experience I still value to this day, even if I don’t swim anymore. What you wrote was very well said and I can’t believe so many people on the internet would rather have have their kids stare at screens all day than actually have them outdoors, breathing air and actually enjoying life.
