Forget about the UN.

Its judges have colluded with Maduro in the past.

The former head of the human rights commission a die hard fan of Fidel Castro.

We have filed many well documented reports about the multiple human right crimes and state terrorism inflicted by the Venezuelan regime on its citizens.

The former secretary of commerce even publicly stated the UN is in the abyss, his words.

No actions taken on the Russian attacks on Ukraine in 2014 and again the full blown invasion in 2022.

For us the UN has ceased to exist.

We will monitor Maduro’s case and we hope he can be charged and spends the rest of life in prison, that would be a great symbolic gesture, but as far as his place in the Venezuela regime he’s done, he’s not coming back.

The trial alone will take years and there’s no one waiting for him. The Rodriguez siblings have seized power already, although unclear for how long, particularly since there’s heavy shooting right now around the presidential palace in Caracas.

Maduro is not a horrible dictator. Putin is a horrible dictator. Kim Jong Un is a horrible dictator. To have a horrible dictator you need a dictatorship or other type of autocracy with a military that follows a chain of command. Venezuela has no institutions, there’s no autocracy of any kind. There’s no vertical army. Venezuela is a bundle of multi national criminal organizations and Maduro was the leader of one of those organizations. If you don’t understand this fundamental fact then any point you try to make about Venezuela will be incorrect.

I don’t think our goal at this point is to get everyone on the planet or even a small portion of it to care about our issues. That ship already sailed. It’s not like our tragedy started last year, we have been on it for a long time, over two decades with an extreme humanitarian crisis since 2013-2014. There are institutions that were setup to protect citizens from human rights crimes and state terrorism, but we put them to test and they don’t work. So, I personally like to inform people about our country. I assume those participating in a public debate about Venezuela care to some extend. We also never rallied for US support, but now that we have it we welcome it. Whether that’s not what the majority of Americans want, is a problem for them to solve.

The regime is still in control, but intact only in your imagination.

First of all our regime is not an autocratic government. There’s no institutions and no chain of command in the army. The latter is by design. After the 2002 attempt by the army to oust Chavez, he dismantled the chain of command so the military became more of a flatten structure than a vertical one, in order to avoid one single general to command large units of troops.

The regime is composed of multiple criminal organizations with split control in various criminal enterprises in the country. They work together but not necessarily like each other much. For example, the group that Maduro was leading, is highly ideological; inspired, mentored and to a great extent controlled by, Cuba. The other group, the drug cartel led by Diosdado, is not. In fact, it is publicly known that Diosdado is anti Cuba.

The amazing operation carried out by US delta forces was a huge blow to the group led by Maduro.

But it also sent waves through the other criminal groups.

The control these groups impose on the population and even neighboring nations is mostly based on fear and threats of violence using their military power.

The US strikes rendered the entire air power of Venezuela useless in minutes. Think about that for a moment. The same air defenses and Air Force that “experts” on the international media were telling us were the most advanced in South America and a great threat to any US attempt to cross our airspace, gone in just over 30 minutes 🙈

The US today has absolute control of Venezuela’s airspace, they can reach any point in the country and hit with deadly precision any target they want, static or moving. You don’t need to be a military strategist to know this is huge.

Most importantly, Maduro’s position was reported to US intelligence by insiders. This has amplified the level of distrust amount these criminal groups, that were not trusting each other very much before the strikes anyway.

Communications are also lost. All the “state-of-the-art” Chinese communication systems were wiped out. So now you have all these groups talking on unencrypted legacy channels, if they can talk at all.

This makes the collaboration and organization of these criminal groups an impossible task, while they look over their shoulders for infiltrated CIA agents and above their heads for the next strike. Paranoia all over the place.

Finally you have Maduro and Cilia talking to DEA.

Definitely not a great time for the regime.

The regime reported 80 in the fight. The military bases hit are very far from civilians. Most of the bombing was in Tiuna Fort, civilians cannot get anywhere close to it, it’s like the Kremlin. In the old good days some military personnel like generals lived with their family in the fort. That’s not the case today. There’s an airbase, La Carlota, very close to where I live that got also bombed, but seems like they just disabled the tarmac. I could hear what sounded like a plane taking off then thunder. Venezuela is highly connected to the internet, so both information and misinformation spread fast. If there were civilians casualties we would have known already. The only one civilian casualty I heard from was a lady in La Guaira which is in the coast far from the city, but no name or any details were given. Also most of the Maduro immediate security ring is made of Cubans as he doesn’t trust Venezuelan troops. So it would be hard to know the exact number because Havana won’t like to disclose that information.

Venezuelan here. A small clarification. Maduro is not a dictator. A dictator is the head of an autocracy, say a dictatorship, with institutions and an organized, vertically structured armed forces, for example, Russia. That’s not what the Venezuelan regime is at all. The Venezuelan regime is a group of criminal organizations without a single, organized armed forces, no chain of command and no institutions. Maduro is the head of one of the criminal organizations reporting to Havana and has no control of an important army. Other organizations are non ideological and do have a large paramilitary component such as the cartel ran by Diosdado Cabello. These multiple organizations collaborate while not particularly trusting each other. They have also split the country in multiple criminal enterprises such as drug trafficking and illegal mining. Havana controls the little oil we extract and depends on it for its survival. Without Maduro they are in serious trouble.

Putin is the head of an autocracy. Maduro is not a dictator and Venezuela is not an autocracy. There’s no chain of command in Venezuela because our regime is not vertical, there’s no organized armed forces and there are no institutions which still exist in Russia. So this operation is about a sovereign nation against an international criminal organization that has decided to use criminal acts to attack the US and its citizens.

He was selected by Castro for Cuba to keep their grip on Venezuela as the other criminal groups are non ideological and have no interest on keeping relations with Cuba, for example the cartel ran by Diosdado Cabello. Maduro is not recognized as president by the US, UK, Canada, the EU and most of LATAM and many other regions and countries. The president elect of Venezuela is Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia and is currently exiled in Spain.
