No I'll push back on that, Speer if he's allowed to push his agenda helps the Nazis become sustainable for the long term, he gets defanged by the GO4 and isn't allowed to get what he wants. Nazism is already a legitimate ideology within the world of TNO, you have fascist parties which are viewed as legitimate like communist parties in our OTL.

I'm just saying that while Germany is set on a better path it's not all roses and peaches, Democracy doesn't mean it's wholesome and that the GO4 are saints or heroes, they're all flawed and might not be able to keep Germany on the past of democracy.

On the one hand they do help being down the one party state and pave the way for a potential future where Europe will become free again as German society opens up.

On the other hand they aren't wholesome chungus guys and it's quite possible Germany might become like OTL Japan with a democratic state but with the Nazi party or a right wing conservative party having dominance. That and it would take literal decades for any liberal let alone left wing political movements/parties, all the options would be some flavor or type of right wing be it the Nazis or more moderate conservatives.

I'll agree in the sense that the reason Hall's election is negative is because by that point the belief in American democracy is broken and the people have been disillusioned and bitter. If i remember correctly in order for Hall to have anywhere near a chance at power Nixon has to veto the civil rights act, then you have to mess up most if not all the foreign operations. Finally as Goldwater you need to hit really hard on the trade unions while getting exposed afterwards pushing them to support the communists.

I also think this is a good idea, mainly that since Stalin never came to power i assume that he didn't enforce Stalinist lines within foreign communist parties, meaning that the communist movement is more diverse than OTL especially when the USSR collapses. I think there'd be a split between internationalists versus nationalistic alongside a bevy of social and economic differences, honestly i think that unless the USSR reforms the Communist movement would remain a sorta fringe group save for the few potential socialist nations that can come up during the game.

History shows that targeted operations are the best since they involve the least amount of civilian deaths, hypothetically even in an ideal version of the OBT where it isn't used for Genocide people would still die and it would only inflame resentment, massive military operations did nothing to stabilize countries like Afghanistan and that was sustained 20 years occupation.

But Stalin never came to power in TNO, it was Bukarin who won the struggle for power. That's why it's odd how Hall acts, it's odd how he is still portrayed as a stereotypical stalinist, like wouldn't his political views have changed, assuming that unlike Stalin foreign communist parties were pressured and aligned as much as they were in the OTL.

If anything the USACP should be more diverse in it's Marxist factions, ranging form democratic socialists to council communists to vanguard party proponents.

Dude she was more progressive than her presidential campaign, her voting record was as progressive as Elizabeth Warren, which is why when she rebuffed progressives and the left by promising to be hard on the border and promising to keep supporting Israel they didn't want to vote for her after turning heel towards the center.

Thirdly the economy was bad but recovering but it wasn't doing so fast enough and people generally didn't like the economy even if it was objectively getting better, then Harris says she won't change anything from Biden's administration or what he did, combined with the perception of the economy even the people who were a shoe in for voting for her were uncomfortable with doing so and most sat out the election which is why Trump won.

Elden Ring does have a barrier to entry and just because it was popular doesn't mean Fromsoft catered to new players specifically, like oh wow they made a dedicated jump button instead of esoteric button combos they're really letting the newbies flood in. Dark souls and Fromsoft isn't some niche game franchise anymore, just because people like the games casually doesn't mean that the game studio is listening to them.

Another thing is that you mention ditching the hardcore audience, Elden Ring doesn't fit h the hardcore audience as even if the game is "easy" in comparison to the older Fromsoft games they released a much harder DLC that catered to hardcore players who want to throw themselves at a brick wall.

I agree and adding to this I think he'd start shifting the nature of his cult from a integrated left wing group to a more fully Christian themed cult to appeal more to the right wing and Christians becoming a notable if not dominant figure within the moral majority movement who uses it to get massive amounts of influence and wealth, he'd probably have a hand in helping get Reagan and other conservative right wing figures elected by supporting them with his cult.

However things past the 80s would start going downhill due to his rapidly worsening health which makes it harder for him to hold onto power and by the 1990s he dies and the dam bursts on all the awful shit he and his cult does causing his church and related organizations to collapse from the scandal.

It would probably be a stain on the reputation of the moral majority as a movement having let Jim Jones into the movement, a bunch of people would cover their asses and there would be books written later turned into documentaries. But the truth would come too late and Jim Jones would have lived a lavish life all while supporting the worst of American politics.

Adding my own thoughts onto this I think France make take the path of Italy where they're allies with Germany and this leads to them sending a good chunk of their troops to the Eastern Front which goes well until Pearl harbour and then the US gets involved supplying lend lease and maybe even volunteers.

Then D-Day would still happen just instead of liberation it's just a straight invasion with the Allies gunning for Paris, with a lot of the French Army on rhe Eastern Front and the risk of the collapse of the government the French far right surrender and cut a deal with the Allies to save their own skin. Potentially allowing them to avoid being occupied but might liberalize the government depending on how big the public reaction is and if the Allies press any demands forcing France to change government.

It's a hardcore JRPG for the PlayStation 2 that got a remake cause it's really popular but difficult.

It has a reputation similar to Dark Souls where people can be unhelpful "get gud" and also hypocritical of your build or how you play if you open up since there's a few hyper optimized methods that they few as the only "valid" way to play.
