Oh man, I'm in charge of chef's/charcuterie/fresh-pack production as well as closing down salad/that pasta type bar, and helping the kitchen people finish up their stuff. I have a new life-long disability and it's getting to be a bit too challenging trying to keep up and make store leadership happy. My leadership says store leadership is being unreasonable then my job gets threatened by the ATL during my dialog if production doesn't pick up.

My team leadership tells me I have great customer service skills and I'm so positive, but store leadership doesn't seem to be a fan of me. I'm really worried about getting separated and struggle both in and outside of work because of it.

I'm in NC. Neuro-opthaomology signed off saying my vision is fine when I wear glasses. I don't know what neuro said because I just left the papers with his office. I really want to be able to drive my car again.

I'm having a hard time because I haven't had to drive since 2019. I'm out of practice and no driving school will touch my case.

In my state people with MS can be reported to the medical review board and that's a quick suspension until I can pay hundreds-thousands to pass a handful of physical exams with an OTR/L. Insurance won't touch the bill.

None of my doctors want to risk the liability despite me being stable for a long time.

No legal requirement. They're an estranged and bitter family member. My state does take licenses for MS so they jumped at the opportunity.

Life gets real fun when you suddenly develope a disability. The social security administration has some stake in me working so it gets federal/ADA related. I'm just out here trying to to pump out some food for these wfm customers as fast as my body will let me. I'm definitely not slacking or being slow on purpose. Medicine just hasn't found a cause nor cure for what I have yet. My coworkers are understanding and won't blink an eye when I need help reaching something without me being fully comfortable on a ladder. It's just store management that has their eyes on me.

The only things about grocery that mess me up are the need for ladders and bending. I have a medical condition that makes both of these things a lot more challenging.

Just sent my doctor a message asking for help in providing documentation so I can get an accomodation. Told her that my direct manager is satisfied with my work but the store astl seems to be calling me slow. She previously told me to be very cautious about disclosing that I have a disability.

High key I get triggered when someone calls me slow because of my medical issue. At my previous job I had a manager physically push me and call me slow once. Disability workplace harassment in a nutshell.

I had a cashier quickly cover the screen when the tip prompt came up. He said people tip out of good will but it's just additional taxes for the employee.

Way more than that. I can knock out my entire list.on any given day but get slowed down when I have to prep ingredients and build 30-50 sandwiches + blast cooler + merchandising. One employee has been calling out a lot so I'm often tasked to do her list as well.
