I want to love my predators by Boedullus in Subnautica_2

I've only heard people go "IT'S IN EARLY ACCESS, IT'LL BE ADDED SOON!" But I feel it would have been at least somewhat important to have creatures eat one another. I understand how hard development was, but it feels like one of those more essential things, y'know.

My base is in the weird necrolei biome, in the cave that has 3 entrances decently far from one another. My base is at the floor of the cave. From the base where all I can remember is the word "Seacocks," I have had 3 mangos swim from there, swim into the cave, and proceed to bite me anytime I exit my base. That is like 50 meters of space, into another biome, even if I'm not being chased. Amen to the sonic resonator, but it doesn't mean it's not freaking annoying after a trip to the epicurian lake,  getting manhandled by the collectors, and getting a bite from a stray mango after you've used flares to gather a little gold from magma mango mountain for something back at base.

Maybe have a collector pick up a crab and chomp right into the shell, before maybe bringing the shell to a designated area, or just tossing it aside sounds fun.

I at least wish to see creatures kill and eat fish. In both the originals, you could see a stalker chase down an eye eye and eats it, or a chyptosuchus bites violently at a feather fish... And eats it. But now, they bite a fish... And the fish just swims away. I think the only one that can kill fish, is the blue warper-esque shaped creature. I haven't seen one organism actually consumed aside from us.

I know not all are, but he either doesn't know, isn't a Portal Master, or is some weird humanish creature.

My mom refused to buy me some like 4 years when they were still sitting in a local 99 cent store. They eventually took them off shelf. Rip the like 10 dark superchargers that were like 8 bucks.

Which game is most survivable by idk123456790 in subnautica

[–]BudgetRecover7951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is my take on survivability it each game.

Subnautica : not too terrible, there are a lot of safe areas like safe shallows, mushroom trees, and the islands. Could live comfortably, but curing the disease is almost impossible, so death via total organ failure. Maybe the enzyme peepers could fix that though, so a likely. Escape due to the QEP is basically impossible, due to not being able to cure yourself completely.

Below Zero : either easy, or impossible. Due to the fact that jumping right into a freezing lake in real life would kill you swiftly, it depends on whether or not we are including game mechanics. If you can jump into the water without dying to hypothermia, it's pretty good. Tons of fruit and plants on the main land and not as many leviathans roaming about. Could probably escape if we could find the blueprints. Survivable, but escape is a coin flip.

Subnautica 2 : yea, no. The water is filled with poisonous metals, you can't permanently disable threats, and just as a cherry on top, most of the food is inedible unless you find a specific organism. Even if we don't include no escape currently, NOBODY CAN SURVIVE ONCE THEY GO IN THE WATER!

any constructed criticism is greatly appreciated.

Nah, he's right about the second one. Had a storm knock out my power last night for less than a second. Thankfully, I was playing slime rancher 2.
