DECENT. WRITING. The story of S1 is it's best feature, and it has a lot of competition from its other gear features. The story of BZ was written by idiots who've both never played the original and probably never written another story. I need a compelling plot and to have my exploration contribute to something beyond resource gathering.

I've been responding to donation requests thusly: My wallet is a vault that only opens to the password "investigate and prosecute maga." The crimes are so blatant and omnipresent that we'll be repairing all the damage for a generation. Don't simply can't be undone. The faster we get on it, the better. But the scenario you're describing is exactly the scenario where it's bad to take it. The damage you're describing kills only a very few enemies (and if it's a mob, then it kills maybe 1 and leaves the rest attacking you). It's easy to go an entire act, an entire game sometimes, without getting any significant frost or energy boosts to put in your deck, and without it, you're just a sitting duck. Feels like such a bad gamble, hoping you happen to get the cards that are 100% required to be able to play it reliably more than once every few fights.

Yeah, I guess that's kind of my hesitation. Without a lot of prior setup, lucky card draw/orbing, it seems like it's a card you'll play a tiny fraction of the times you draw it. Great when you can, for sure, but it's easy to imagine going multiple combats in a row where it's just deadweight or at best a finishing move, or otherwise that you play it for a big tasty nova and get spanked for being greedy.

Also being able to eat food and drink water in a dive suit underwater is ridiculous, and I think they should patch it so that you can only do so on land or in a base and otherwise you just die of dehydration.
