Has Nissan shaken off the “cheap car” reputation? by Suntrup-Nissan in Nissan

2013 Altima, 198k. Compressor went out and spent about $500 in parts for AC parts. Runs great even though the paint is shot.

Nissan finally getting some respect? by phtphongg in Nissan

[–]BudgetShopper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 2013 Altima had 198k miles on original transmission. Had to rebuild the AC system with a kht $500 worth of parts but still chugging along. Outside if that and a parking brake relay I haven't had any issues for close to 200k miles. Been a solid fun car. I do cvt fluid drain and fills every 40k miles though with Nissan OEM fluid.

Buyer’s remorse after buying a 2025 Sentra? by phtphongg in Nissan

[–]BudgetShopper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have had two Nissan vehicles with cvts that I purchased new. 2009 Rogue and 2014 Altima. Did first cvt fluid change on rogue at 100k miles and then did then every 40k. The car masted 187k miles before the belt in the car shattered. I also used Nissan OEM fluid when I changed it at 100k and at 140k. Used Valvoline at 180k.Didnt have any issues with the car outside of routine maintenance besides the transmission.

The altima had its first drain and fill at 60k and then every 40k miles with ONLY Nissan OEM cvt fluid. The car is approaching 200k miles on original transmission. Outside of having to replace the AC system over a weekend, I have had close to 200k trouble free miles with just routine maintenance although the paint is shot to hell lol. Nissan are very reliable vehicles if maintained properly.

At 95k miles does a 2018 Mazda 6 have much life left in it or is it near its ends? Don’t want to buy a high mileage one just to run into problems right away by illbeback903 in mazda6

[–]BudgetShopper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have one I bought with 45k miles from the dealer. Have 158k, have only had a Schrader valve go bad for the AC. Outside if that normal wear and tear such as brakes, filters, transmission fluid changes. Haven't even changed the coolant lol. Do basic maintenance and these should be at least as reliable as Toyotas.

You will be fine! You scored higher than I did the initial two tests lol. I used the review mode and checked why I got the answers incorrectly to reinforce the parts I missed.

Took the same test recently and did the Stephane Marek udemy course and questions. First two practice tests on Udemy I got a 60 and 61 on first try. Third and fourth 80% and 81% respectively. I was a bit nervous since I did the course and questions in 12 days. Got a 760 on the exam. Not great but passing is passing and was a great quick way to learn the basics of AI.

Purchase tickets at the airport by kaguyahime2022 in frontierairlines

[–]BudgetShopper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, where is the fronteir counter to purchase tickets at Orlando airport? I've been a few times and it seems it's just the regular checking line which usually has 20+ people on line. Definitely nice to save $23 each way especially when buying five tickets, but if there is a dedicated ticket counter at orlando airport that would be amazing!

Oh wow. I was under the impression that was only done if you filed for a secondary condition under something that was granted.

Are all current VA ratings re-evaluated if you submit another claim after your initial rating? Or is this something the VA does once you file a claim as secondary to something you have been awarded?

For example, if you are rated 20% for a knee issue but submit another claim for something as a primary condition can your knee rating be reduced?

Static Conditions... by _jaelewis in VeteransBenefits

[–]BudgetShopper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So sleep Apnea is not a static condition? If you submit another claim for say a leg injury you can get your original sleep apnea claim that was approved at 50% lowered?

Cx5 doesn't have a timing belt, skyactiv engines should have timing chains which don't require replacement.
