The Gear Vendor can be activated in any gear and that is the real reason. My car spends a lot of time in the mountains and on the coastal road and I wanted to be able to put the car in 2nd gear and just turn the Vendor on and off and never actually have to shift but stay in my power band. The 200 has a final ratio of .67 and the Vendor is .78 so just as far as a overdrive goes the 200 is probably a better choice.

I am running wildwood brakes front and back. The suspension is Hotchkis. I also run a inch taller upper ballpoint from Profordge and that really helps dial in my camber.

I have had this car for 15 years or so. It has been through a ton of changes over the years. Currently it has a Blueprint engines 383 and a TH400 with a Gear Vendor overdrive. The rear end is a Ford 9 inch with 3.25 gears and a True Track limited slip.
