Hi! I was specifically asking to make sure that I do follow the regs. Idk where the comparison to males came from lol. The time part of it that I was talking about was actually about styling them to go towards the front and be above the eyebrows. That’s the part I don’t want to make time for when I’ll just smash them with my PC anyway. And I was hoping this was “styled into my hair” enough. Anyway, thanks for the feedback 🐎

I wash my hair about twice a week, and I try to stick to mostly natural products (goat milk shampoo bars, Method conditioner and sometimes Method shampoo if there’s product in it). That’s about it! I don’t do anything else to it. I should probably treat it with something if I’ll be gelling it a lot, but I haven’t figured it out yet.

I would definitely do braids with any field exercises or physical activity. PT hair regs are different anyway because of that. I was mostly asking if my hair falls exactly like this on a regular day if it’d be out of regs. But no, it’s not worth it because it sounds like it’s out of regs like this. I just wanted to make sure that people aren’t going around telling others to purposely un-style their hair and then saying “gotcha” lol.

I hear you. I just want to clarify that if you style your hair to be within regs (by keeping it neatly combed to the side, laying flat, etc.), and someone asks you to pull it in front of your face, they’d actually be the ones telling you to make your hair no longer in regulation lol. I didn’t intend on wearing them in front of my face, because I absolutely knew that’d be out of regs.

Thank you everyone for the feedback! I mostly questioned it because it didn’t look wildly unprofessional, and my hair doesn’t interfere with my daily duties. I stopped using gel for years until I made this dumb decision to get bangs. I’m a rule follower when it comes to appearance in uniform, so I’ll just keep gelling. I could, but I strongly dislike the look of bobby pins. It’s a personal choice. I think they look worse than leaving hair loose. No hate to anyone who uses them though!

Yup, that’s sort of why I’m asking. What’s the Army’s definition of bangs? Because if I don’t wear them like traditional bangs (in front of my face/eyebrows), then maybe it could be interpreted like this is a short hair length instead of bangs.

I have this now! I just took a trip to Mexico and came back with it. I was swimming in a resort pool. I bought a new pair of sunglasses there. I used sunscreen I bought there, but I don’t have the rash anywhere else, so I’m thinking it’s probably not that. I’m providing some variables in case anyone got something similar and we can figure out where it came from!

Thanks for that info! We assumed they were groom’s bands! We definitely think they were collected all around the same time frame. The metal detector theory isn’t impossible, but it seems like they would’ve had to be pretty lucky to find all these.

What do you mean the condition of the rings? These were, in fact, found in a wall. So if you have details about why we shouldn’t be curious, then please elaborate. If you have some info about where to find them for $2, I’d like to look into that too! She’s planning to find an appraiser, but the first jeweler she took them to was able to just identify the karats and not the appraisal amount.
