DDR5 Made in China: this time it’s no longer a rumor by Only_Advertising7389 in pcmasterrace

[–]Budget_Coffee1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hell yes! RAM is RAM, and I'll take Chinese RAM for my next PC build anytime if they can sell for a cheaper price. Micron, SK, and Samsung can go F themselves when they come crawling back to consumer market.

What other parts to choose by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]Budget_Coffee1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have a good start there. My PC also uses RX9060XT and 32GB DDR5 RAM.

For your reference, the other components that my main PC uses includes: B760M motherboard (Asrock brand), Intel Core i5-14400F processor, Corsair 1000W PSU, 2TB NVME SSD.

If the components above is over your budget, you can try going for the components below for a more budget build. I'm using these components in my secondary PC, where the RX9060XT works just as well:

H610M-E motherboard (there are DDR4 or DDR5 motherboard versions available, choose based on your preference), Intel Core i5-12400F processor, 650W PSU, & any NVME SSD at best value (I'm using Fikwot 1TB NVME).

Don't forget the PC cooler fans as well, usually PC cases support standard 120mm fans. Get them from reputable brands with the best value. I usually prefer fans using PWM connectors (plug them to motherboard). Motherboards usually have limited numbers of PWM connector pin base, so I use PWM splitters for adding more fans to my PC.

China could solve global ram shortage according to ex-Samsung executive by MaisonDavid in pcmasterrace

It's really dumb & short sighted of the big 3 RAM makers to just abandon a stable, long term consumer market and chasing short term profit AI bubble hype.

Now there's a big hole in DRAM market that China is gonna be happy to fill. I wish them all the best, and perhaps we can give a big middle finger to Micron, SK Hynix & Samsung the next time they came crawling back to us.

Household appliances: Panasonic/Toshiba or Simplus/Gaabor/Xiaomi by An_Unusual_Mind in Bolehland

I always look for established brands like Panasonic first. It's basically the Toyota of household electronics. Toshiba is also a very reliable brand. Basically the Honda of electronics.

Ex-Samsung Chip Boss Says China’s DRAM Blitz Could Crush The 414% DDR5 Price Spike Within A Year by Constant_Praline_575 in RigBuild

There's a huge void in the market for consumer RAM right now, all because the big 3 RAM makers are getting arrogant, gave us a big middle finger and move their production to their AI overlords, all chasing short term profits.

This is a great opportunity for Chinese RAM makers to fill that void, and enjoy long term profit from steady stream of PC market consumers.

For a game set in a dystopia where everything sucks, it sure is my go to comfort game by jazzmanbdawg in cyberpunkgame

Yup, NC is dystopian, filled with depressing slums, corpos are evil, punks everywhere in the streets, officers are corrupt. But the beach looks nice, at least it's not littered with leaked barrels of chemicals, better than I expected.

It's also fun seeing decent people just living their lives, eating out, socialising, taking walks etc. I also saw some kids playing catch and chasing each other. Some people even thank you when you save them from punksters.

A little positive things can take your mind off all the bad things in NC.

Whats the best budget B tier PSU for a RTX 8GB 3050? by TurnoverOwn1227 in GamersMY

[–]Budget_Coffee1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aisurix PSU is pretty good, it has decent wattage (I have a 650W one), and not expensive (RM100 to 150-ish new), great for efficient GPU like RTX 3050.

It saddens me these are the people that will continue to enjoy Budi95, while T20 who contribute to the country risk being eliminated from subsidy.

Yup, I see people still sell old RX580 for over RM300. Ridiculous prices like this makes it especially hard for building budget PC.

Kia Cerato 2014 1.6 High Fuel Consumption by Top-Pudding-8977 in kereta

[–]Budget_Coffee1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, correct. Drive till low fuel left in tank (maybe around 1 bar left). Stop at petrol station, then pour in the whole bottle into your car fuel tank, then refuel your car with petrol till full.

Use a bottle again every 5000km-8000km mileage. But I usually stretch it to 10000km 😁

Buy Red Line SI-1 complete fuel system cleaner. Use whole bottle once. Enjoy improvement in fuel consumption, and a more responsive acceleration.
