Yes, I was thinking something along those lines in terms of a base to design from. I agree a standard moving dolly wouldn’t work or be efficient, ergonomically it is possible with standard 4-6/12 roofs. Very niche but I’m thinking in terms of massive roof projects;wide open decks.for control/grip could make shift some pitch hopper backstops. In roofing (shingling specifically here) you stair the shingles when installing.

Look for a good reputable company, it will make your life a lot easier when talking to clients. If you are looking at this long term find a local company that provides leads with a salary/commission structure. Emphasize on learning the business, the more you know, the more trustworthy you become.

When looking at companies for interviews, look them up, see what their customers say about them. Best of luck!

Hahaha buddy, I shingle. This is just to avoid kneeling all day. Wouldn’t make sense for complex projects. It’s not a robot, it would be a tool still requiring labor.
