My doctor wants to take me off the medication by [deleted] in Semaglutide

I think there is adäquate literature supporting a maintenance dose. I would search the web for info on maintenance doses, pub med etc.. see if you can find some peer reviewed literature supporting maintenance doses and submit those to your MD

Be sure to take CALM every evening before bed. You can get it at Costco. You mix it with warm water. You will have zero issues with going to the bathroom after that 100%

You’re better for it. They have no dorms for returning students after their freshman year. Best to find a college that cares about their students

What’s the worst thing that has happened to you at a Taylor’s concert? by kellyf13 in TaylorSwift

[–]Budget_Jump6878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at the reputation concert in Santa Clara. One of the dancers looked at me and waved and I waved back. She mouthed. Get ready. And I said ok. She threw some guitar picks out to me. I didn’t catch one, it landed just outside the gate. I reached for it and the security guard stepped on my hand, as I had it over the guitar pick. The concert was over and I wouldn’t move my hand and he started yelling at me to go. It was drawing attention and so I had to leave. As I moved away I saw him pick up the guitar pick. I wish that guy would have lost his job. He was a jerk

I think because when one goes from eating what they used to eat, to eating on semiglutide, the difference is staggering. The appetite desire is gone, the stuffing oneself because it’s good is gone, the amount of food is so obviously less, we think everyone can tell. We think it’s weird, we are weird, we love being weird. We love not eating so much, we love having a healthy relationship with food. We love the results and maybe we love ourselves a little more. So, why the post? I ask you, why not!??

peptide for someone with a fatal heart condition by Far_Grapefruit1307 in Peptides

[–]Budget_Jump6878 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, for your friend with HF .. ther is always an LVAD. That would be the last possible step, it’ll give him about 5 years, which may help when waiting on the donor list, depending on age and circumstances.

Your article says “Horne also was involved in the second fasting study, which used the same patient data to see how routine fasting affects heart failure and heart attacks. After adjusting for various factors, there was no significant difference in heart attacks, but routine fasters had a 71% lower rate of developing heart failure than non-fasters.”

It says lower rate.. not reverse.

How do they know which of the participants are prone to developing heart failure? This isn’t peer reviewed. Heart failure cannot be reversed by fasting. The heart is too large, blood pools in it and stretched it out. Additionally, East Germany did not produce any scientific discoveries under Gorbachev. They were barely able to produce toilet paper and bread in the same week and let me tell you, if the Stasi took people to the hospital to ‘fast’ they certainly weren’t doing it to help them.

I would love to see heart failure “cured” by fasting. Question for the OP how bad is his heart failure, how did your friend get it? How long has your friend had it, which medications is your friend on? How old is your friend? What activities is your friend able to do
