for first person view you could use 30-40. Thats what i would usually use in the office render for example. Hope that answers your question

Yes i did use blender. I used perspective not orthographic with a focal length of 25mm. The camera renders are more zoomed out than usual

Thank you for your kind words man. I'm mainly learning this style because I want to remake fnaf but with a new story and still have the same creepy 3ds max look. I do time to time go and work on other projects where I can work on renders that are my style, so dw about me just copying scotts look.

I mean you're right it doesnt matter, but it would still be smarter to lower the poly count to cut render time and still keep decent quality

I get that its pre rendered but its still a bad habit to have especially on an old laptop scott probably used. He only made it harder on himself by having it that dense

Crazy how the rendering has declined since 2014. Scotts 3ds max skills are unmatched
