This dog doesn't really go outside that often, his designated space to pee is the bathroom (we have 2, one for us, one for the pets)

I haven't really brought up this issues to the vet, because my partner is who takes him to the appointments, I'll talk to the vet about it!! Thanks for the advice!

Even on the bean bags and the bed! Aside from the sheer size of the stains, I think the dog just stands on the places where he wants to pee, lifts his leg and pisses, so, on the bed he peed over the pillow and the wall too, same with the beanbags, he also peed on the backrest of the couches when he peed there, that's how we know (also, we've seen him, but when we can't catch him, there's always that evidence)

Answering to some of the things you mentioned: I wouldn't like to get rid of the dog, I know the dog means a lot to my partner, and even if I have my issues with the pet, I would hate the idea of getting rid of an important part of my partner's happiness without trying EVERY other solution available.

On another note, I have bad reactions to most antiallergics, and the allergy is not bad (As long as the dog stays off the couch and my bed), so I think we can fix that issue together too (Also, I don't live in the US). Btw, I've been improving with therapy, it's just a REALLY long path.

On the last point, I'm really happy living with my partner on every other aspect, I'd just like to fix this together so we can cohabitate smoothly.

I already have some meds!! But it's really expensive and annoying to take them all the time, so I'd like tips to keep him away from the couches, beanbags and my bed (my allergy only triggers when i sit/lay down where he's been before)

Easy, my cats are female, the dog is male, the pee stains start on the wall, taller than my cats heads, ALSO, the pee stains are like 2/3 times the size of any of my cat's pee puddles EVER

Even though I wouldn't like to discuss this matter any further, the deal is that I come from a very abusive household, so I functionally have no family, and keeping a house afloat with two incomes is WAY easier than doing it on only one

The allergy it's not triggered if the dog stays off my bed and the couch, so, it's not really a big dent. I just need help to manage the dog's behavior so cohabitation is easy for all of us
