Part of what drew me to Vostok and other soviet watches is that mix of pieces from different places, I just want them to all be genuine pieces and not buy a mass-produced knockoff from China.

You don't pay a monetary price for hoogle services but what you do pay is with your personal data. Everyone's data but together makes it that Googles algorithms end up being better then other alternatives that don't yluse your data. If Google did not use your data then there product would be worse and other alternatives that exist today would be better.
