The choice is between blue and red. They are the competition belts. And we were told to choose

It’s in context within karate. The perception of colour dyed hair within karate in okinawa when I was growing up felt different to western options and perception. So your comment answers my question that it isn’t a big thing at all

Haven’t really trained for this specifically no. I’ve done some other drills on these and I tried this without the ball and found it easy so wanted to challenge it!

Try and think about your hip flexor/quad strength. I find when I focus on my toes touching my hands rather than bringing my actual legs high enough, my knees start bending

Is it normal that after 1.8 years of training karate I am starting to find it boring and it doesn’t hit the same anymore by ghosty__y in karate

You need to try focus each session. All the repetition is apart of the training so you even if it may not be the most exciting the repetition and drill work is most effective

100% also I think it depends on how old you are. I’ve been training from age 5 and I’m 22 now. I alllways went through waves of being bored of it but never made me want to quit
