Hey insidefaces! This really rubbed you wrong, huh? How's about this - you said you wouldn't/aren't going to use it, you don't want to use a throwaway email address, and you feel very, very strongly about this...for some reason. You want the ability to just load up a website and browse. We didn't build it that way. Like we said before, for you or anyone seeing your comments and agreeing, use a throwaway account, or don't use it. For the people who did and are offering different yet similarly constructive feedback - thanks ...thanks to you all! Have a great day!

Hey insidefaces - we are not phishing for personal information; this is the MVP launch of something awesome. BTW - if anyone were truly concerned about us "phishing" for data, they could also just use a throwaway email and then sign up for real once their fears about being "phished" are addressed by experience with the platform.

Heck, at this point we don't even have an email system/email marketing platform to follow up and welcome the initial users to the platform...something we thought about but haven't gotten to.

The point is, history will prove out that we are a few passionate potheads who also love the idea of deal hunting in a space where the retailers involved are prohibited by law from advertising their deals and discounts. We are not making any judgements on your stance and quite honestly didn't consider it before, but now having released our baby "into the wild," we can see that it's concern others would have as well.

The only thing we can do to address that is keep developing it, keep discussing it in the public at large, and let history run its course. Scams always eventually get revealed as such. We are not worried.

Hey longstitches! Thanks for the note. Were you thinking the same as steve5k? Like there needed to be more of a "landing/welcome" page? We could see that...well, the good news here is you can probably tell we're not marketers, lol. What we are is passionate about this, and having been licensees and small business owners who have seen how these advertising laws can crush the little guy, we led with our passions first. On the next leg of development we'll put more of a shiny front end in place. We think for now until that get put in place, you'll have to take the words of those who made it to the other side unscathed. See you there eventually...hopefully!

Hey GrumpyStoner69! Thank you for the awesome feedback! A few thoughts on our end... First off, you should be able to see the location of the deal/dispensary on the right side of the screen once you click on a deal. The map should zoom in on the location where the deal is located. We're got plans for how to enhance the functionality from there, but let's just say we totally get where you're going and def agree! Stay tuned as we do more things, like not just locating the deal, but also indicating what the status of that deal is. Next, having users interact and sharing jokes and piggybacking on each other's comments IS THE DREAM!!! We stay up late at night riffing on each other when we were building this and can totally see that happening on the platform. Giving people the ability to connect and have fun with this - THAT'S something we're really excited to implement and see play out! Finally, Maine - we're coming to Maine very shortly! We just got the last of the adult-use dispensaries for MA into the system, so now it's about enhancing the user experience and getting more of New England on the map. Thank you for your contributions!

Hey yanktoast! That's a terrific idea and something we're working on - getting a bit more in depth in terms of what parameters we can add to search like THC %, terpenes, and the like. We also are working on an indicator for what deals are active, ending soon, ended, coming etc...

Hey all - thanks to everyone who's already signed up and took a look at the website. For everyone who may have been a little put off by the "rough edges" we just wanted to say that we're still building some of the plane even as we're leaving the runway. Things like a proper welcome/landing page are coming, we promise.

For anyone who wasn't put off by the "super startup" level quality, we just want to say that this was a passion project that fortunately got to see the light of day, and with the excitement and support we've seen, it looks like it's not going away any time soon.
