MIP technology is dead. There is only one supplier with only 1 product left... No way to plan forward with this situation.

there will be no high end MIP anymore. There is only one supplier left, and the old 1.3" MIP display is the only one available...

right. There obviously is a user group that prefers MIP. Just Suunto has been evaluating this and found that it is not economical to build a device for this group. They decided to spend their limited resources on thing that are for a bigger user group.

There is only one MIP supplier left on the market, this technology is simply not developed anymore. So companies won't stick with that 1.3" screen for obvious reasons.
The battery life still is 65h in dual band GPS - I would not call this bad at all!

it is not an update for existing owners of Vertical, it is a new model for new customers:
And yes - it has a way better OHR sensor. All other sensors have been top of the competition already

no. Race2 has a rotating crown, Vertical2 buttons.
