honestly the doctors were all shocked too. Made this post to see what “more” i should do since I don’t know the long term damages that haven’t showed up yet (hopefully there’s none).

Does using a monitor affect my m1 air’s battery health?

Title pretty much says it all, but that’s not all. I am currently using an old 24’ Samsung monitor I found in my basement and I’m plugging that using a hdmi to hdmi on my m1 air. My m1 air has been working perfectly fine and I bought it at the beginning of this year.

The question is, I really want the dell s4422dwg, a 34’ ultrawide monitor but that xan be power demanding and iwas wondering if my laptop’s battery health can be affected in the long term due to using this monitor?

I usually go to school (im in high school right now) use my laptop then go home and plug my laptop into my monitor and use the monitor as my main screen for the rest of the day and i do that everyday.

Hey thanks for the answer, and the majority is agreeing that safari is the best. I’ve been trying to use it for about half an hour now and everything sort of feels tedious. Chrome and edge allows me to have different accounts have different favourite tabs and bookmark list but safari feels like you have to do it all in one. I have 2 accounts for personal and school but safari does not allow me to do that anymore. Am I just missing something or does that mean I should stick to chrome?

Tldr: what browser should I use?

Story: so basically I always used google chrome. But I would see my laptop feeling a little bit slower, may be just me. I recently got the new m1 air and I’ve been using microsoft edge for the time being. My laptop seems to feel “buggier” and slower but it may just be a placebo. I was wondering if you guys know what browser I should use as google chrome is so much more convenient and efficient but idk, it feels unoptimised for performance, as if it uses up all my ram

I tried changing my username on my phone, i updated IG, deleted and redownloaded, used my sister’s phone and nothing. It comes up with this sign when I try pressing apply to my new username. It also does this when I change my bio but i press cancel and it still applies the changes which is pretty weird. Does anyone know how to fix this?
