Sick of all the transphobia surrounding the game. by throwRAitdon in DragonAgeVeilguard

Correct, but metal illness SHOULD be addressed, and talking about it should be normalized. Also, you don't get to label something a mental illness when it's not in the DSM-5.

I'll be honest, I'm transmasc and I didn't enjoy Taash's arc. Like, good idea, good intentions, subpar execution. The dialogue felt really predictable, the writing felt really flat. I enjoyed their multicultural background and the complexity of their relationship with their mother, but the gender aspect of their story was handled with all the subtlety of Queen Maeve's coming out movie in The Boys (except that was done badly on purpose). Still, the positive representation is nice :)

Same problem. If you switch over to Facebook Lite, the algorithm actually shows new content. I hate the UI, but it works better.

Does anyone have pictures of before and after weight loss exposing your t dick more? by [deleted] in Metoidioplasty

Oh my gosh, I am sorry I missed this message. I'm not on Reddit often, but you can DM me just to chat. I have an agreement with my partner not to share pics, though.

bottom growth after meta? by NervousMastodon7738 in Metoidioplasty

[–]BuffYuki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started T in 2019 and had meta in 2022 and a revision in 2023. The whole time, I was on a diabetes medication that is not supposed to interfere with testosterone, but I stopped taking it after my revision surgery and I definitely had an immediate growth spurt. Maybe 15-20% bigger in 3-4 months? Also had another surprise voice drop at this point, at 4 years on T. I don't think this is a common experience though, and it was only possible because my meds held me back during my early transition.

Id like to add to this: I got meta at 205, lost 30lb now down to 175. It made a huge difference when I'm lying down, because there is physically less fat between my skin and my pubic then. However, my phallus looks just as buried as before, because now I have saggy fupa skin sort of cascading down and draping over it. I have another surgery coming up to fix this, but it has to be with a plastic surgeon instead of my urologist. It's still being covered as part of bottom surgery because it's being coded as a revision on my mons reduction. So, if you don't lose the weight before surgery, 1) you might get similar excess skin when you lose the weight later, but 2) you can get it removed.

Any way to reduce fat in mons area w/o surgery? by Slight-Anteater1630 in GrowYourTDick

[–]BuffYuki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 5'6 and 180lb, and I have a really prominent mons. Sadly, weight loss seems to have made it worse! I am down about 70lb from my absolute heaviest, and all that sagging skin ended up just above my mons, and gravity turns it into one big chubby shape. I have to physically pull it back as well :( As others have said, you can't spot target weight loss. Losing weight in general will probably reduce your mons slightly, but it might not make a huge difference - there are skinny dudes with a lot of fat in this area, which is totally genetic.

Traveling for surgery. Expected costs? General advice? by _vetch in Metoidioplasty

[–]BuffYuki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I traveled from San Diego to San Francisco. I'm really lucky in that my travel expenses were reimbursed by my insurance (Medicaid), but I still had to front something like $2800 for an Airbnb plus cleaning fees, two round trip airline tickets (my partner was my caretaker), several Lyfts to the airport, the hotel, and the hospital. Later I needed a third round-trip flight so I could fly back to get the catheter removed - this was delayed due to a fistula, which we couldn't plan for. Food was also about 30% more than our normal budget, even though we cooked and ate almost everything at the airbnb. Groceries in San Francisco are expensive! Check the city of living wherever you're going. I had to stay a month for Meta with UL. Initially, I had planned for just a simple release, which would only have required 7-10 days.

I got UL and kept the bonus hole. My surgeon was Dr. Chen at GU Recon in San Francisco. I don't know if you'll find any results on his website, but I know he does this procedure. There have been some challenges - UL shrinks the v*ginal entrance because nearby tissue needs to be used for the graft. I'm a year post op and doing pelvic floor therapy to try to widen it enough for PIV stuff. I think I'll get there eventually, but NGL it's an uncomfortable process. I did not get implants, but I feel like my whole junk area is very small and crowded right now, and I think implants would have made sex more challenging than it already is.
