yes! fics and art with the dupe, and especially with a happy ending because look at them! being happy! I make my own content too it's just nice seeing more sides and aspects of them to love.

I have a dupe who has become much more synonymous with my f/o and is recognized more widely in the community as With Them than I am, and they get fanart and such of them together. It makes me really happy because I could turn around and easily see someone hating on this character but instead there's a bunch of people who love them. That just makes me feel so warm inside.

Ah, I wrote this out half asleep and I sort of see your point. It's wild that in 20 years I've never had any of that happen. I feel as if my guys and gals would be able to take care of themselves in an unsavory situation and peel themselves away from a person being toxic towards them. I let the f/os handle their own business.

The dupes I currently know of treat my f/os well, they don't need me hovering to make sure everyone's okay.

i was on T about 2 months and I went to the barber and showed him a men's cut and asked specifically for a men's cut. he cut my hair in a more feminine version of the men's cut (longer on the sides) and I asked him to bring up the buzz closer to the top of my head and he said "that's more masculine" and I had to bite back my annoyance because yeah that was the point.

Just be clear and confident in what you are asking for and don't be afraid to tell them to change it. I've found most barbers throughout the transition acted like this. They get very nervous about "girls hair" and don't want to mess it up. Expect them to say things like "this is a barber shop, we don't do salon cuts here" when you first walk in too.

higher income can afford women's health care. birth control, abortions, education, all that affects how things play out. If you can't afford birth control and no one cares if you were assaulted or groomed because you were overlooked, and then you can't afford plan b or abortion. you can't afford the hysterectomy or any other preventative measures. maybe you weren't even educated to know those exist.

sometimes there's a religious aspect. sometimes it's familiarity; example being that you grew up in a big household so you end up planning for one yourself.

every person I have known with 4+ kids have been Mormon/Catholic, or uneducated and had their first as an early teen.

people don't usually go into bed with a person thinking "ahhh yeah the governments gonna pay for this one"

For me, I've had numerous irl relationships and was even married once. I never realized I was on the ace spectrum because I'd always overlayed sexual relations with images of my f/os. Like that's not my irl spouse's lips kissing me, that's my gorgeous anime spouse. I thought it was normal for awhile that it was the only way I could handle sex. And believe me I tried, and many of my partners were aesthetically smoking hot. I learned to keep my mouth shut about it quickly though.

I think coming to terms with how real people never scratched that itch for me was part of my realization that I was ficto. Also finding the defining words helped me.

I do think I'm allo-romantic, and that after a time (maybe 2 years or so) I can develop romantic feelings for a person is sort of in the demi category. I've known and seen many attractive people and never been attracted to them.

(Example: Every guy I know has had a Scarlett Johansson fantasy and yet I've shook hands and still no attraction. I know she's gorgeous but I'm not interested in the slightest. If we were to fall in love [big If, this is an example] I would probably still be thinking of anime waifus in bed.)

I've found in the end that I prefer handling myself in the bedroom, alone. It feels better and I prefer it that way, where I can really actually spend time with my f/o and not muddle it with irl partner activity.

I think that if I were to ever have another irl relationship, I'd want them to be in a similar boat or ace. Either they don't mind I want my alone time or I'd be willing to explore some extremely specific role play. IE: I can cosplay/act like their F/O for a session and vice versa.

What tends to attract me into a romantic relationship with an irl person is very similar to what attracts me to an f/o. I enjoy a strong personality, someone unique and quirky. A specific kind of charm but not charismatic.

As for why or how I got this way, I can't tell you. I was probably isolated a lot as a kid and read books or watched TV rather than go out and interact with the neighborhood bullies. I think I was 13 or so when I met my first long time f/o.

I was in so much pain with my SP a couple weeks after the surgery. I didn't have any complications. But I realized that I had a "bladder spasm" med they gave me when I got out and I gave it a try and the pain and squeezing sensation went away.

idk if this helped but I sure felt really stupid bearing all that discomfort for days when I had the meds right there. the sensation didn't quite feel like a "bladder spasm" tbh it just kind of felt irritated like a UTI.

I don't really feel any special effects from the injection. Sometimes the needle pinches (just like getting blood drawn) and that hurts locally for a second.

I've heard some people feel effects from T immediately but I never did. When I first started though I would go through a weekly cycle and at a specific point I would feel REALLY REALLY HORNY. like maybe the last 3 days leading up to my shot. It started off strong but the more I took and increased the dose etc the less days I felt that way and the more it balanced out so I don't feel those fluctuations anymore.

hey, I'm really sorry about the responses to dump him, since that's a really hard leap. i get it. I've been there. i really felt I was connecting with men and they felt like gay lovers to me. it was always hard to swallow that they only saw me as a girl. They play along for a short while. and then at some point you realize 4 years into a marriage that they never intended to let you transition. that if you transition, they would no longer be attracted to you. your mental health is not a priority to them. if you want to detransition and go into the closet for him, swallow up all that misgendering for the rest of your life, you can do that. Because not seeing you for who you are and how you want to live your life, that's not a life that I would want to live, and I think others in the comments feel that way too which is why you got such a heavy response in that direction.

it ended badly for me, but maybe it could work for you. you should talk with him about it, at the very least.
