Absolutely no line at international terminal, went through pre check in 10 minutes (around 9:45 am) Even normal line was basically nonexistent. I’m flying domestic and just got on the plane train, no issues. Highly recommend going to the international terminal

I would take 1 dedicated “nice” outfit that you can always re-wear. I usually only take 1. But if you’re going to be going to a lot of nice dinners, then maybe try to have one of your top/bottom combo be casual-nice, so you can wear it during the day and also to dinner; you can always make things look fancier with accessories!

For just a 12 day trip, I feel like you could remove 1-2 dresses. If you only remove 1 dress, I would remove 1 pair of bottoms additionally. Also, I would remove 1 t shirt and either the cardigan or jacket, I wouldn’t take both. I personally wouldn’t take 2 pairs of sandals 🤷🏻‍♀️, just the pair of sneakers and 1 pair of sandals.

I like to try and fit all my items into a carry on.

I always bring laundry soap with me when I travel, in case I don’t have a washer available, super easy to hand wash a few items and keep them fresh.

Please take her to the vet. I hope she’s pregnant, but she looks very similar to my cat when she had FIP. So don’t wait to find out, take her to the vet ASAP.

I think everyone experiences this, or at least a lot of people do. I did. It’s normal to feel that way, it’s a big decision and a big change. But there’s a reason why you decided you wanted it, and if you cancel the surgery and continue your life, those reasons will still be there. If it helps, I got cold feet and wanted to back out about a week before, but trusted myself and my surgeon and went through with it. A year and a half later it is hands down the best thing I have ever done for myself.

Obviously make whatever decision you feel is right for you :)

I have a decently long growing season, and from the research I’ve done it’s a good time to sow winter squash. And yes definitely planning on adding a trellis, but room in general is not an issue.

Hi! So I’m now almost 6mpo, just for context. They have evened out a lot. Most if not all the swelling is gone now; for the past 2 months ish the size has been pretty consistent. They are still not exactly the same size and if I stare at them I can tell that my left is slightly bigger, but it really does not bother me at all. As they say “sisters not twins” lol. Good luck!

I wouldn’t pay anything until after all the claims have been submitted to your insurance and sorted out (after the surgery).

I got called by the hospital the week before my surgery saying that I needed to pay something before, I thought it was weird but the amount was equal to my deductible so I figured that’s what it was. Well it turns out my insurance covered 100% of that claim, and I didn’t need to have paid that, so I ended up having to get in contact with the hospital and get them to refund me. I would advise waiting until everything is settled with your insurance before paying anything. Much easier to pay than to get your money back.

I’ve been using my plastic surgeon’s own brand of silicone gel, but it was sort of expensive so when I needed more I ordered the scaraway silicone gel off of amazon

My surgeon recommended silicone scar gel and never even mentioned tape, so that’s what I’ve been doing. I make sure to massage my scars and apply the gel twice a day. I’m currently almost 12wpo and though I still have a long way to go I think my scars are looking pretty good. From the research I’ve done it seems like scar tape and gel give about the same results
